Pretty flashy
The number of elderly folk having heart attacks in my village has decreased sufficiently now, as I resemble a radioactive panther during my evening run, and can also pretend that I'm the Blackpool tower when I set it to flash. Laces are rubbish so I have set them aside to build a fortress and catapult to get rid of the rest of the elderly population.

These actually fit better as armbands
These actually fit better as armbands, worn across the triceps. The work very well, though they can be a bit scratchy on bare arms. When worn around the ankles they're quite big and don't easily stay in place. That all said, they do a good job or increasing my visibility to traffic while running, which is most important.

Basic
I attache them to my arms, only gives light on one half of my arm, the other is taken up by the buckle and excess strap etc. They are not very long so to go around your arm they are tight and the material is quite abrasive which chafes whilst you run = not nice.

Watch out for the heel lights coming off if your stride brings your heels close together -- both came off during just a 5k and I only found one of them when doubling back, alas. When they're on, they are great, though

These were brighter than I thought but great.Really bright at night and you can certainly see me when I'm running.

One died in 3 uses…
Unfortunately one of the two bands just died, not a battery issue. I would recommend it otherwise.
