Pretty in pink
This was a gift for a friend who loves pink and she usually doesn’t wear a color on her nails but she loves this color and now wears her pink nail polish. It really is a lovely, feminine color and seems to stay on well and is very pretty on especially in late spring and summer but I have a feeling she will be wearing it year round. It has an Iridescent sheen to the color and really picks up the light while you’re wearing it and it seems to last a good while even when doing dishes and housework and seems to be very good quality for a nail polish, especially for the price. It covers well and helps keep our nails from breaking and tearing which is always a good thing. I’m actually impressed with the polish and color and I think I’ll get it for myself and my niece who also loves pink. The color reminds me of Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolias, it’s definitely a signature color and I don’t usually go for pink but this is a lovely color and polish.

MY NEW GO TO POLISH!
Great product. Easy to apply. Brush fans out to cover nail in just two sweeps. Looks terrific. Very little chipping…a good top coat fixes that. You can leave it sheer, layer it for more intensity or add it over another color for a pearly finish. Best of all, it dries very quickly. I’m tossing out my old polishes cuz I’m converted and I’ve already bought four more bottles. Yes, there is less product per bottle than with other brands, but really, how much old stuff do you throw away?

Highly recommended
Love it. Try it on top different colors -- even dark ones. In put it over an emerald-green polish (two coats) and it ended up holographic with pinkish/purple "flares". It dries fairly quickly. Good texture. Good brush. LowER chemical scent. Also beautiful to just pearl up the nails!Good price. The bottle is really small, but I still love it enough to buy again.

Beautiful colors, too sheer...my trick for getting the picture color
I wanted a soft yellow and was having trouble finding what I wanted at a reasonable price. I really liked the softer colors with this set as I have a few bolder ones already. It looked very nice in the bottle so I chose my little decorations and prepped my nails. After putting on and curing basecoat, I started with the yellow. It was kind of streaky, so I shook it. Still patchy. I tried a thicker coat (which I really don't like to do as it can get bumpy.) It was better, but still some patches. I figured it would improve on second coat so I cured it. Added another coat. Still patchy/streaky in sections. Cured it. Tried a third coat. Almost there, but certain parts looked streaky.I was not putting on a forth coat as it just gets too thick. Plus, if you add glitter or anything and need a thicker topcoat, you art getting WAY too thick and bulky. So I took it all off. If you use gels like me, you know that is a pain. I have natural nails (except for 1 which I broke and fixed with polygel.) My trick to getting an even coat was to:1. use your regular base coat2. use a good white polish (so you don't need multiple coats.)3. put this product on white (i needed one coat, plus a thin second coat) Add any glitter or whatever here.4. top coatThe white underneath really helped with the streaking. I have had mine on for about 3 days now and the product is working well. No chips or peeling even with a weird design with glitter and crap under the topcoat. I gave it 4 stars for the colors, but did take one away for the streaking/lack of coverage. I attached a photo of the yellow over white. Please excuse the thickness due to the decorations) and my less than skilled application! I hope this is helpful!!

Works Great with Base and Top Coat
The winter shades in this set are stunning and apply smoothly. I used them with a base coat and top coat, and the manicure lasted over a week without chipping. The polish has a nice consistency and great color payoff. For the price, the quality really impressed me—perfect for DIY nails at home!

Great price and beautiful!
I love Azure’s colors and that this is non toxic ingredients. This does dry quick and stays on a long time without chipping! I will continue to buy more nail polishes! :)

ORIGINAL 1-STAR REVIEW, posted 12 July 2018:I wanted to wait until I had another product to compare it to and had tried each a couple of times. And I'm glad I did---because in the beginning, I figured it was just newbie user error that I couldn't get this to work right.BASE COAT: I understand that gel base coats are supposed to remain "tacky" after curing. However, this base coat never got beyond the "sticky" phase---such that by touching the nail to see if it was at the right stage of tackiness, I was accidentally creating lumps and bumps and rough surfaces that ruined the layers that went on top. Then, once I put on and cured a layer of colored gel polish, even though the surface of that might feel cured, I could still feel the gumminess of the uncured base coat underneath.TOP COAT: This was gloopy/thick coming out of the bottle. And it remained that way on my fingers, even after curing for *several* minutes with an LED/UV lamp (Hausse 24W LED UV Nail Lamp with 3 Timer Setting, Nail Dryer with Automatic Sensor LCD Display Screen). It never progressed past a "soft-set" stage. Even after three or four minutes of curing time under the lamp, I could still easily press another nail into the surface and it would leave a groove. I wanted to move to gel home manicures so that I could get up and walk away after just a couple of minutes and not have to worry about ruining all that work. Thankfully, I found another product (Aimeli no-wipe top coat) that works perfectly, even on top of non-gel polishes.______________________________________UPDATED 3-STAR REVIEW, posted 27 July 2018:After I posted the one-star review above, I was contacted by "Maggie" in customer service from Azure wish:"Hi, Kaye. Here is Maggie from Azure Beauty offering service to you. Thank you for purchasing our products! I noticed that you are not very satisfied with our gels via your comment. I am sincerely sorry and apologize for this. You mentioned the base&top coat are thick. We would like to solve your problem, now we have upgraded our product, it's better than before. We would like to send you a new one for testing. Please reply when you see this to let us know more details of the problems, your satisfaction means a lot to us. Thank you!"My main question to them in my response was how, since I'd just ordered/received the product a WEEK before, they now had a new formulation. Had they just sent me old product and hoped I wouldn't notice the poor quality of it? I never received an answer. The company sent me, free of charge, replacement products, which arrived in a timely fashion. They were definitely an improvement over what I'd received the first time. Now that I've used other brands' products, the consistency of both the base and top were comparable. However, I did notice that on a couple of nails, the top coat didn't cure correctly---after 90 seconds under a UV/LED light, I was able to wipe most of it off with alcohol. But when I reapplied and re-cured, it worked fine, so that could have been user error.I contacted the seller on 26 July to let them know I'd received the product and that my initial impression was that I liked it better; however, I informed them that I was going to wait a week or so to update this review, since many other reviewers here initially liked it but found that it peeled off within a couple of days. Since one of the reasons I want gel polish is for longevity (to get at least a couple of weeks out of a manicure), there's no point in reviewing the product before that time period is up. I told them that no matter what, I would increase my rating based on the good customer service when I did update it. So, if I'd updated this a week from now, this might have been a 4-star review. However, shortly after informing them that I wanted to test the product for a week or more before revising my review, I received this email:"Hi, Kaye. Nice day! We are appreciated that you can share us your opinion. I understand your worry, you would like to do honest review. But could you help me update review now? I really need this job. My boss give me much pressure, if I can't make you satisfied and update review. I will lose my job. Could you help me do this? If this make you uncomfortable, I am so sorry, but I have no choice. Could you please help me? please please please.ThanksMaggieAzure Beauty"I don't respond well to coercion. Therefore, while the product seems to be okay, because the seller wasn't willing to allow for a reasonable amount of time to test the product, and because they tried to use manipulation in order to get a better rating for their product, I will not be purchasing from this seller again.
