Grill Parts For Less, Compatible Z-Grill Pellet Grill RTD Probe 5 1/8" 550ASeries: ZG-RTD-4

I was about to buy the slightly longer version of this until I read the reviews and saw someone mention they did the same and had to buy this one instead. I needed this installed asap to make sure it will fix my issue before Thanksgiving, so I measured my temp probe and it matched this one instead (slightly shorter). Check your measurements.It arrived earlier than the estimate and installed just the same as the original, and actually worked better than the original. It not only fixed my recent errors I was getting, but also a long standing issue with reaching max temp, and door opened temperature recovery.Now my smoker performs better than new, I'm back up and running, and ready for the holidays.Only small negligible issue I found, is that the screw hole (non-slotted hole) on the mounting ears is slightly off (~1/8 inch) to where the probe sits up against the hole in the metal box housing for the probe, and rests the probe on the upper rack hole it sticks up from. Not a big issue and didn't affect performance or accuracy. I verified the temperature reading on an external digital thermometer, and was within 2 degrees of what the smoker readout was the whole time.Highly recommend this.

My Zgrills pellet grill was acting up. It was operating erratically as far as the temp, and giving an error code. I ordered this temp probe for it. It was very easy to replace, and now the grill is back to operating normally

First one was wrong size my mistake.but the size 5 works great in my zgrill thanks
