Such a simple design but very useful. The sandpaper is easily attached/changed. The block makes sanding very much easier and also helps prevent unwanted rounding of the edges of the timber. The only thing you do need to be cautious about is catching the paper on a sharp edge/snag in the timber as the rubber pad beneath the paper is easily damaged.

This the second one of these sanders I have purchased. They making sanding plasterboard or wood so much easier. The sandpaper is held taught so you get a really even finish and your fingers do not get tired from gripping onto the sandpaper round a block. It is also a bit smaller and lighter than the more traditional metal sandpaper grip so as a woman with smaller hands I find it more comfortable to hold. I only knocked off 1 star for two reasons 1. There is an inate weakness in the design. The metal clamps are screwed into the plastic body. Over time the levering action if the clamp works the screw out if the plastic. At this stage the screw hole is destroyed and no amount of glue will hold it. The first one I purchased only lasted for 2 rooms of intense sanding which was a shame. A metal body or at least a metal plate around the screw holes would fix this. 2. It is smaller so does not take standard size sandpaper off a roll. It has to be cut yo size. No biggie but worth noting.

Substantial product of good quality. Fit for purpose.

It’s a large sanding block but it’s well made and easy to add the paper to. It’s nice to use and feels a good quality tool. Maybe not a professional block as the tabs need care and the padding is soft. But well cared for and it will last you.

Not used yet but looks strong in fixtures and the unit

It holds sand paper just fine and has lasted several months of use so far.The paper is held firmly in place no bother.The only thing is it's a funny size. I've got big hands and it takes me a wee while everytime to settle the tool in my hand. It's not a deal breaker but over time it's a noticeable quirk.

I ourchased because i am fed up of using a piece or wood or cork blocks with snd paper wrapped aprund, as it gives rough fingers.It worked. Easy to use and nice size. Recommend it.
