Great compact stereo. The sound is ok. It has a basic equalizer so you can make it higher base with the rock setting or high treble in the jazz mode. When the volume is high the music is a bit distorted. Also the lowest volume is Loud. Even when you turn it down its still Loud. Sound is not the greatest.Very low wattage but great for price. Perfect for a bedroom or man cave. Easy to set up. Holds 30 preset radio stations. Sadly only has one CD. The only drawback is the CD button is directly beneath the CD tray so when the tray is open its hard to get to the button. I just use the remote. The remote is really too small. Its about. 4in x 2in so it could get lost easily. Great for a bedroom or man cave. It has a solid blue light around the CD tray and volume knob. The speakers flash to the beat of the music. Reminds me of the light boxes of the 70's. Good value for the price. I would totally recommend it. I also got the insurance which is good for 3 years only $21.99. Fantastic deal. If they can not fix they will send you an Amazon gift card for the value and you can buy another new one with the gift card. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Love my stereo. It works the way it's supposed to so far I just got it. And it's not possessed really like the other one. I got from Walmart's.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love this system. It takes me back to the 90s lol the only reason it didn’t get five stars is the sound. It doesn’t get very loud. Looks:90s lol

Where to begin?. The sound quality was HORRIBLE, I tried all the preset equalizers and each one was worse than the next I finally had to settle for the "Jazz" setting because that was the only sounding equalizer that didn't sound like the speakers was blown and muzzled. Keep in mind this was to play a Metallica cd, any time a heavy metal cd has to use a jazz equalizer tells you something about the unit and will never sound fully as intended. I unplugged the speakers and tried them on my other stereo to verify they are the cause and yes they was bad but that's not all, I plugged in my decent speakers to this stereo and the sound quality was horrible coming out if them so I plugged my decent speakers back onto the other stereo and the sound was clear on that stereo. So we have a unit putting out bad sound and bad speakers putting out bad sound, it's a recipe for total failure but now the best part of all was that half the buttons on the unit dont work or work every now and then. You have to press disc open about 35 times to get it to work, same thing with the remote, half of the buttons work about half of the time. Its already been sent back a few hours ago. Save yourself the hassle if it cost $90 out the door after taxes then you get what you pay for.

The radio picks up several stations no easy task in our area. CD player and clock work nicely just as you would expect from Magnavox product. Granddaughters love the color Oregon speaker's. Have not tried the other features as of yet.

Will not buy again

I was sooooo excited once I took this stereo out of the box. It’s the perfect size and has great sound quality!
