So, I used to make my own Piccata sauce, happily, and everyone ate it, no complaints. Not that it is hard to do, but it does take some time. One day I noticed Paesana had a Piccata sauce, and bought a couple of jars to have on hand for a quick night dinner. My grown kids come to dinner each Sunday, but one weekend, they all decided to come on that Saturday instead, leaving me scrambling for a quick plan to pull of dinner. Out came the jars! After dinner, my youngest son looks at me and says, and I quote, "Mom, I don't know what you did different to your Piccata sauce, but it was really, really good this time! Keep doing it, whatever it was." First, I was crushed! Solid slam on my homecooking skills! Then, I decided to just go with it and keep buying it. Delicious!

I’m too busy to make chicken piccata from scratch. So I bought this to try it out. We loved it. I ordered 6 more jars. I used to get the Romano’s chicken piccata in a box. Loved it but can’t find it. So I tried this. It works just great

I have not tried the sauce yet but I agree with all the other reviewers: packaging stinks. The six pack in the plastic wrap is not safe enough to send through shipping. I only received the box with one broken bottle. It was such a mess. I washed all the othe bottle and refrigerated them because I was afraid of critters smelling the sauce from the broken bottle and getting into my pantry.

I'm going to give rating credit to the sauce but the package had a problem.First, the sauce. Outstanding! Better than I expected even after reading other positive reviews. Much to my surprise my teenagers also liked it served over pan-fried chicken on a bed of spaghetti.Second, the shipping. Despite being packaged in a sealed bubble wrap bag with cardboard between them (ordered 2-pack) the top of one of the jars had come off. I bought two jars, had to throw one away because the sauce had emptied from the jar and filled the bag. The box didn't appear damaged and the glass wasn't broken but something misfired somewhere along the packaging/handling/delivery chain. Seems that some shipping tape pressed over the top and down the sides of the jar itself would help to prevent this kind of thing from happening.

Bought this sauce to replace tomato sauce for less potassium for my husband. V Ty thin and not anything like we expected.

If I were to buy this again, I'd make sure that I highly seasoned whatever I was serving it on/with. I relied on this to season the dish and that was a mistake. Needs more Oomph.
