This cutter gets the job done at a great price
I am very satisfied with this tile cutter!I am not a professional tile setter but a very accomplished DIY'er. I have another 24" tile cutter as well as a wet saw and have done several tile jobs through my life. I needed this cutter to install 260 sq. ft. of 8"x48" porcelain tile.I was a little hesitant about this purchase because of the reviews I read but because this is going to be a one and done type job I wanted to keep the cost down.I found the cutter to be well built. The laser makes it super easy to line up the cut and it is extremely easy to adjust. There is a screw on each side so loosen one side and tighten the other. It does an outstanding lob of scoring the the tile. The one problem I did encounter was on a cut of 1 3/16". The tile snapped fine but only half way through. When I tried to slide the handle down to snap it in the middle the bars flexed and do not put pressure on the tile. I then removed the tile and turned it 180 degrees and snapped the other end. A perfect 4' piece.IMHO this product is a great value and I'm happy I pulled the trigger.

Works very well
actually worked very well once i got it figured out. my last cut was a 1 inch strip off a 47” tile. it was straight and didn’t break. learning the correct pressure on the handle makes all the difference wether it’s a 14” or 48” tile cutter

Is great for the price.
Is very inportant that you keep the little plastic in the metal part to avoid chippin the corner of your cuts in the porcelain when you snap it, also the laser keeps getting out of line so you must keep track every few cuts to make sure is still in line, other than that is great for the price . I am happy with it since i was able to complete my job installing 24 x 48 porcelain and the cuts were very clean. I seen many bad reviews of this cutter for a 24 x 48 tiles but i did not have a problem cutting it until i noyives it star chipping ou the corners of my cuts because i had debri falling in the snap area so i clean it and put the rubber back in the metal and it stop chipping my cuts. I must say i was able to cut up to 1 1/2 by the 48 inch without problem, but i should say i did not have many cuts of that sizes. And as you can see in the pictures i also install 9 x 48 and o was able to rip cuts at he full 48 inches without problem. Be mindfull i have only use this cutter in 1 job only however for the prices it already pay for it self with this one job. Hope works for you.

No 45° angle and no giant tiles
I gave it three stars because it does not glide easily and sometimes you have to score tiles four or five times.Even then, the part that breaks the tile is fairly wide so sometimes smaller tiles are a struggle to cut.Of course this does not support 45° angles unless you want to hold it in place which is difficult And it doesn’t support much larger tiles if you want toCut the long way

What the Flying flippers!
The fact that I got a smooth, straight cut on my first try is still blowing my mind. I’ve never used one of these cutters before so I’m kinda impressed. For the price I’d say it’s worth it. But I did try to cut a little tile and it was a no go. The tile was too small to sit on the middle bend. I would say the tile needs to be at least 2-3 inches wide to get a nice cut but I could be wrong. I barely became a tile cutting master with this tool yesterday.
