Be SURE your UV Lamp is 36W.
I like this resin a lot. I bought it to customize some straight crochet hooks I had lying around; I'm a pretty crafty person, I honestly hate crocheting with hooks that don't have handles, it seemed like a good fit for my first resin project.Fair warning: this (the hook part) was absolutely not a beginner project. Mistakes were made & regrets are plentiful. I also jump into the deep end head first with most things, don't be like me, do some dried flower pendants, or bookmarks, or something before intentionally cutting up silicone molds you paid for...Anyway, I went ahead and bought some silicone molds I thought would work as handle grips, and I did some engineering in my head to work out a way to make them stable ( I settled on the foam from pink hair curlers with slits cut down them, if you're curious! It kept the hooks nice and stable and also kept them from drifting off-center in the resin.) I also ordered some glass dip pen nibs and used the same technique to make custom dip pens.Anyways, no, this stuff doesn't smell good, but it's a fairly light smell and if you keep a fan running in a well-ventilated area, it shouldn't be a problem. It smells no worse than your average nail salon that uses UV polish. It's a little runny. Especially if, like me, you are modifying silicone molds to stick bits in and through them. You want to cut the hole as small as it can possibly be, push your object, in my case my hook or pen nib, through, and seal just that little bit with some clear resin immediately to keep it from moving around or leaking later. If you're fast, you'll eventually master getting your object under the lamp quickly, and sealing any holes you've created intentionally will be a breeze.Speaking of your UV lamp. MAKE SURE IT IS 36W. Make sure you use some kind of timer! It cures PERFECTLY FINE if you use the right lamp and cure for at least 4 minutes. It may not cure right at all if you go too high or too low. It MATTERS: do your RESEARCH, check TWICE, buy ONCE!!! :) There are plenty of UV lamps to choose from on Amazon, but you have to be careful: even if you include 36W in your search, you will be shown other wattage levels in your results. As you can see from the F hook pictured (pink/magenta) it cures crystal clear when you don't add any glitter, objects, or colors. (Just to clarify, I knew I wouldn't be able to avoid bubbles with that mold and turning the hook in the mold to get it rounded the way I wanted it. I can usually get bubbles out if it's possible with the mold and I want to - it's not a problem with the resin!)From my G hook (light green, fat rounded handle) you can see that it cures perfectly well for thick pieces if you follow directions and do it in layers or cure it for longer. I had to do both.It has mixed well with glitter, mica pigments (I'm using Techarooz), and the gel colorant this brand sells can be used to make very cute transparent pastel items, like those trendy pink, blue, and lavender shaker toys. The dip pen next to the rose colored I hook is an example of just two tiny drops of the Limino gel pigment in purple.Overall, I like this product. It's fast and easy to use. The directions are clear enough. I have already ordered and used more to complete my set of hooks. I also bought and used the Michael's brand, which I didn't like nearly as much and no one could tell me what wattage my lamp needed to be for it. Definitely, Limino will be my go to.

AMAZING PRODUCT!!!!!!!!
I ordered this to "try". OMGOSH its the most amazing and easy to work with. It does have a smell but it dries so fast. I am new to working with resin, i poured this in turn around and looked back at the mold and it was hard. SOLD I am in LOVE with this product. I can't wait to share with others. I used the entire small bottle the first day making projects in disbelief..... AWESOME PRODUCT. on a scale of 1 to 10 its a 20!!
