DIY Crochet Kit Giraffe Ziggy Eco Barbante Popcorn

Made this as a gift for my great-nephews first birthday. Instructions clear and easy to follow, except for the horns that I eventually gave up on. Made a lovely toy, with sufficient yarn left over to probably make another.However, personally I don't like working with bigger crochet hooks and find all hooks over a size UK 4mm difficult to handle .

Arrived on time. Great little kit. I'm a beginner, so it is a bit confusing for me.... but am sure once I know what I'm doing it will be easy enough. Nice colour, and I like the cotton quality.

I love the Hoooked Series - Eco Barbante Animals characters.The Patterns are in British, Dutch & German. Is you use US Terms remember a DC is a SC.Hook Size is a 4mm to 6mm. For my tension a find best results with a 5mm. It comes with a Bamboo Hook (random hook size of 4-6mm). I use a metal tipped hook & save these lovely bamboo for the school kids.The yarn is Hoooked Eco Barbante - this is 85% recycled cotton and 15% other recycled fibres. So it is has no give to work with. It's almost string like - so If you don't like using don't buy the Kit and moan.It does not come with stuffing so don't expect any.All the kits if made correctly are child / baby friendly & safe (on your choice of stuffing).Kids LOVE them & they last forever.Highly recommended - I have made approximately 25 of these kits now.

Easy instructions to follow and have enough yarn for another one too

The material used for this product is like string,I found it quite hard to work with,( I am not an expert at Amimeguri style crochet) he looked like the pattern !!!,i chose to use a smaller hook for the unicorn(work in progress)which i think gives a better result

I was a bit disappointed because there is no filling included in the box. The reason why I ordered it is because I don't want to loose time finding everything I would need to make a toy like this. Also there are no instructions what material you should use to fill the toy. If I wanted just a hook and yarn I would buy separately and watch video instructions on youtube!

The item inside the box is fine however the box itself is squashed and looks terrible. Disappointed as I bought it as a gift for a work colleague.

5 stars because despite not coming with stuffing this kit is perfect. I love that it's recycled packaging! Also there is so much yarn left over that it's more than worth the price. I do wish it came with a marker for those who wish to buy this as a gift also I dont think I (a beginner) could do this craft without one. Other than already being totally invested in crocheting as my new hobby I will be purchasing more hoooked products in the near future!

Habe dieses Produkt bestellt weil ich es einer Freundin zum Geburtstag häkeln wollte... als es kam, stellte ich fest dass der Karton sehr verbeult war und alles wirkte so als ob es schon einmal retourniert wurde. Die Banderole des Garns war mit Tesa zugeklebt worden.Das alles wäre nicht schlimm gewesen, aber es fehlte die Anleitung...Also das ganze Spiel nochmal... Ersatz angefordert bei Amazon (der zumindest sehr schnell kam...Freitag Abend bestellt und Montag Abend da).Beim Auspacken musste ich hier leider wieder dasselbe feststellen...keine Anleitung drin! Langsam bin ich wirklich sauer... So ist mir wertvolle Zeit flöten gegangen alles bis zum Geburtstag meiner Freundin fertigzubekommen...Nochmal bestelle ich das Produkt hier nicht...will mich nicht noch ein 3. Mal ärgern.

Ziggy the Giraffe was easy to make. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I love the quality of the product. Everything was included in the kit. Very happy with the product.
