I've had shark vacuums now for many years and this will be the 4th shark I've had. The design of these vacuums are second to none. As a professional cleaner, not wanting to buy commercial vacuums which are heavy, ugly and expensive, this particular shark vacuum is larger and extremely well made making it capable of the endurance work that I put it through everyday but so efficient and easy to use it's a joy to work with. This model even has an odour control pod which is a nice touch but might prove expensive as it's used so much. The lift away is perfect for stairs and high areas and so easy to lift away and and replace. The hose release is so easy making swapping from vacuuming floors to high areas a piece of cake. I honestly wouldn't have anything else. It is the perfect work mate and customers always compliment how clean and dust free their homes are. Considering the larger size of the vacuum, it's still light weight and easy to carry.

Having used a cordless vacuum for years, it’s scary how dirty our carpets clearly were until we got this corded Shark! My photo shows how much was brought up during the first use in 4 average sized rooms one day after using our old vacuum.This vacuum is fairly heavy but that is too be expected and doesn’t really matter as it is easy to manoeuvre left and right and around corners. You can also change it into a more portable vacuum for skirting boards, sofas etc.There are three settings - one for hard floors, one for average carpet and one for thick pile. They all seem to work well.Easy to empty too!Oh and I love the light on the front which makes it far easier to see what your doing in various lights.Excellent value for money given how much more powerful it is than our previous cordless kit!

We had just got a new cat who sheds black and white hair in amazing quantities. Our current vacuum cleaner didn't hack it so it was off to which for reviews and advice. This came top. In fact, I don't remember seeing anything other than Shark in the recommended or best buy sections.It arrived, nicely packaged with no plastic. Putting it together was easy and then it was time to switch it on!Twice over the rug and all cat hair had gone, the rug looked as good as new! The hose detaches easily and the attachments work well on stair carpets. When using it on hard floors like wood and tile it is remarkably quiet.The only downside is that it's a bit heavy and slightly bulky, but lighter models are available with reviews that match on everything but capacity.

I thought my carpets weren't that bad but goodness the amount of dust and hair it picked up was massive, then there was the bet of whose room was worse. It has good suction and tools are the standard you get but I like how easy it is to empty. The use on stairs was good as I could detract and walk with it and use the smaller tools. It's an interesting design with the rubber rolling tool but as long as it works! Its a monster so can be a bit heavy in general verses the cordless ones but am happy with the purchase. Just need the kids to do their own rooms now. Was a bit expensive but if it works and lasts then I'm happy

Great vacuum overall. I completely agree with other reviewers who say it is relatively heavy, however this is only felt when lift and manoeuvring. When in motion, bath and forth, it is manageable.Cleaning capabilities are amazing, as a corded vacuum there is no issue with loss of suction. The pet hair tool is terrible, but gets the job done with multiple passes. The anti hair wrap is great. Sometimes hair will still get wrapped around the brush but this is minimal at best. With more use they then to break away on their own without resorting to the scissors or a knife.The anti odour puck smells lovely. Similar to “ocean breeze” smells. However, finding replacements is tough and official ones through shark cost a ridiculous fortune!
