But I do like the thickness of this comb more than the half-dozen of these plastic pointed combs I just threw away. Every other comb is so thin, it is like they're trying to see how little plastic it takes to make one to increase the profit margin.I definitely would recommend this set to anyone looking for a really nice brush set that is gentle and good quality.

Brush and comb easy to clean. Would have preferred a little more strength in brush bristles for smoothing. Overall works well. Bought 2 sets for me and my daughter.

This is the only brush my toddler will allow me to use on her hair. Easy to clean loose hairs out, haven't lost any bristles yet!

I tried finding a comb and brush that weren't made from plastic because my hair gets super static-y when brushed (1a hair). I was sad to see that the combe wasn't actually wood, but still excited about the brush.The brush is soft, but not boar bristle. If it is, then it has more plastic bristles than boar bristles, and made my hair more staticly charged. I think this is a little on me for not reading more carefully, but I'm still sad it wasn't what I was hoping for :/
