Fantastic
Julbo never disappoints. I have worn them for years and they just work for me. They protect my eyes and always keep the worst out, and still look good. I am blown away with how the lenses adjust to light and always seem to be right for the conditions.

They do not get darker.
The "reactive" photochromic doesn't work. I covered one lens and left them outside. Came back, took them inside and looked through them from a distance. There was no difference. The uncovered lens was no darker. That said the fit and feel was great I will probably just by a pair of cat4 and call it a day. Wish theu actually worked though.

Eyeshields fall off.
As above. I purchased these expensive to protect my eyes while working at a science research station in Greenland.• The optics were great! My eyes did not get tired after wearing sixteen hours a day.The two things that I am not happy about an will keep me from buying these again are:• The side shields - the main reason for buying these glasses - fell out during the first day on ice.If you do buy these, you will want to crazy glue the shields in place. I wound up using pieces of gaffer tape to keep the glare from entering from the sides.• Getting a lanyard to stay on is a bit of a challenge due to the design of the part that goes over the ear.Maybe the solution is to move the lanyard more forward. Still working on that solution for all my eyewear.
