I hurt my backand was unable to stand for a while nor could I get in the bath .This chair was a godsend enabling me to have a shower . Like everything else these days it comes in a flat pack but assembly was easy without tools and the chair is firm. It is sturdy but also light so can easily be moved when others want to use the shower .

I won't lie to you, I purchased this for my disabled wife as a replacement because she wanted a shower seat with arms. The instructions say to put a short screw in the middle and 4 long screws in the corners, when I did this then turned the seat over there were 4 bulges in the corners caused by the 4 long screws being too long. After returning the chair i had some good communication with the supplier and they explained that the wrong instructions were in the box and that they were emailing the correct instructions to all purchasers, upon checking I did find the amended instructions and i was kindly sent another seat. I built this to the new instructions and it is a strong and sturdy chair and now a favourite over the folding chair we already have. I would recommend this as a safe chair but make sure to check for emailed instructions before assembly or contact the supplier they will be very helpful with you.
