Disney INFINITY: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) Video Game Starter Pack - Xbox One

What a blast! Fun for everyone, including the "adults". Our son wanted this for Christmas, so we really weren't worried about the quality. But once we fired it up, it was obvious that a great deal of thought has gone into the game and accessories. Fun adventures and safe for everyone in the family.I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the figures. They look as good as figures you might pick up from a comic book store or dealer who would care about selling a quality product. Sharp paint jobs, attention to detail, etc. I know it's about the game itself but the fact they cared to put this much time and effort into the quality of the product shouldn't go unmentioned.

The main reason I bought this was to play with my friends when they visited. I really like the story in the game, it is a nice bonus. We mainly use the Toy Box. It isn't the best game creator I've used but it is a lot of fun and the gadgets are great too. I would say this is a great game for kids, but that would be cutting it a bit short. It is a great game for people who miss the days when games were made to have fun in.

Daughter loved them

I enjoyed the toy box area better than the playthrough, but even the toy box got boring. Graphics good most of the time, but does tend to get glitchy in areas. Marvels playthrough way too easy, I was done in less than 5 hours. The two side playthroughs were boring and repetitive. I prefer games that take many hours to complete. You can buy many things in the toy box store with blue sparks, but not the great stuff. The great stuff you have to unlock by playing a specific character and that characters story. So if you want stitch or stuff from Brave, you have to buy those stories and figures. And also, you cannot use characters from other inifinity games. Marvel playthrough only allows marvel characters. So you cannot play marvel playthrough with Mickey or Aladdin, etc. Just another gimmick for more money.Played several of the submitted toy boxes, quite a few of them are glitchy. Disney seems to upload almost everything from users who submitted, even worthless ones.Toy box mode was good at first, but became boring after a few days. It is the same thing each toy box you make....link toys together and hope the game you created works. If you have too many creativity toys, it slows down and wont let you add anymore.Characters max level is 20. Skills tree cannot be full because of max level. So if you were hoping to acquire all skills in your characters tree, forget it.

Disney hits a homerun with this series. We are a huge Marvel fan family and these characters are alot of fun. With 2.0 you can now have characters cross over from their worlds. This is a big improvement from the 1.0 version. The regular gameplay is fun with the characters and their abilities. It is the Toy Box that has really expanded as you can now more easily create games!!

I bought this game for my little 5 years old boy, and he has passed many hour playing it, creating his own worlds and playing the different levels so I think the game accomplishes its objective, but this is a review and I have to qualify many things of the game, so this is my review:Pros:- The toys are beautifull.- The graphics of the game are nice, I think that could be better but are ok.- The toy box (the site where you can build your own world), is great and easy to use, my kid spends most of the time playing it.- That you can grow up the power of the characters is a great idea, my kid tries to get coins to level up his character's power.Cons:- After the first level of the game, the other games are monotonous so you can be quickly tired of playing it .- You have to buy more toys so you can play with other characters. I Know that this is marketing but come on, it has the cost of a game so you should be able to play with any character. I bought to my kid the lego avengers (best game for kids) and he plays with all the characters, so I think that here disney has to be creative to let play with other charactes and also motivate people to buy the toys.

Great game. My 6-yr-old can easily run around and play in the game. My 14-yr-old loves to create more or the world. It's a great game that has something for every age group. Even my husband and brother-in-law play on it. lol

it's fun enough that i can play along with my child who asks me to play it with him quite often. it's held my child's attention for several weeks now which is good, and he's looking forward to getting the 3.0 edition next.
