Love these speakers.
I have these speakers for 2 years. I have a lot of speakers and these are my favorite. I have them connected to a 100 watt Yamaha amp and it is pleasure to listen to my favorite music.

Large heavy speakers
There nice looking and sound great....

Very abrasive highs
I really wanted to like these speakers, they had a lot going for them. They are very efficient and easy to drive, had decent imaging and balanced, clear bass; however, the highs were very abrasive and overly accentuated to my ear. Female vocal were especially grating on these. I knew they were not for me.In fairness to the speakers it may be that the amp I am using (Arcam SA20) is a bit on the bright side as well, but the combination did not work for me. I ended up with a pair of Triangle Borea BR08's and they seem to pair with the Arcam quite nicely.
