Great stretch for thick thighs, and big booty gals.
Okay, so I hope I can save some curvy girls some time here. I’m 5’ 9” and weigh 185#, I’m an hourglass shape, with wide hips, thick thighs and a big booty. I wear an average size 11-12 going by Old navy jeans. I’ve tried 4 different brands of water proof pants I’ve found on Amazon, And these Camii Mia are the winners!! I ordered a 34x32, they hit me about 2” inches below the belly button, I’d consider it a higher rise for sure, but comfortable. They fit my hips, thighs and booty just right, not too tight and not too loose, you can wear thin thermals underneath and it’ll be fine. The most important part that I couldn’t find in any of the other brands was that stretch! These stretch way, way better than the others. With thick thighs it’s absolutely necessary to have a good stretch in there or you’re uncomfortable the whole time. The waist hit just right, above the hips but not too high, there’s no back gap when you sit down or bend down, that you get with a big butt. I can bend down no problem, the lining is nice and soft and warm, they hit me just below the ankle and have a nice slim leg so you can wear boots. I haven’t tested the waterproofing yet, but I’m heading to Iceland in a month and I’ll update when I get back. Great purchase! I’m buying another pair!Update: I went to Iceland back in October 2019 and the pants held up great!! I’ve used them for camping, and outdoor stuff. I just got back from a week in the Redwoods and my pants were perfect! They repelled the water and wind, I was warm and comfy.

Flattering and Comfy Hiking Pant
This is primarily a comfort and fit review since I haven’t worn these pants on my Iceland trip yet. The sizing does seem to run slightly small, so I’m glad I sized up despite the seller’s assertion that they “fixed” the sizing to be more true to size. I am 5’8” 126 lbs, typically wear size 26 jeans, and I ordered a 28 in these pants. I’m glad I did, they seem to fit great. There is elastic in the waistband, so I could probably wear them smaller, but I like that the elastic doesn’t have to stretch out for them to fit comfortably. There is also room for a thermal layer underneath. The lining is soft and seems warm too. They are definitely high-waisted, above my belly button. The length is surprisingly good for my height. Overall, I think these will be perfect for Iceland! Hopefully the water resistance will be enough for our planned activities.

Very stylish fitted winter warm pants.
I am 5’2” 115 to 120 lbs and I wear a size 4 and I got size 28. I wanted it big enough to wear yoga pants underneath to keep me extra warm. I believe the 27 would be a great fit without anything underneath. I live in Maine where the winters are brutally cold snowy and wet and I am toasty warm and dry. I can hike and not get overheated. The texture of the pants is a nice nylon material and not shiny. They are not ski pants material. These pants seem very durable and can handle A beating of being outdoors everyday hiking even with the dogs jumping on me with their claws. It’s claw proof. No holes! These pants are fitted and look very stylish to wear outside in cold wet weather. They are a touch too tight in the calves but fit through the buns and hip perfectly. I love them so much I got my sister a pair of size 27 and she wears size 2.

Perfect fit and love the sleek tapered/slim leg styling
Bought a pair of 30Wx30L a year ago, and I knew going in that it would be too long since I am 5’2”. I bought this size base on the waist measurement. But it is just too loose. I am 120 lb and normally a Medium, P8 and occasionally P6 and Small depending on the style and cut. Since I really love the tapered slim fit styling, the fleecy material on the inside and the somewhat wind proof material on the outside, I decided to buy a 28Wx30L pair to see if it fits better, with the intent to hem the legs. Turns out this pair fits perfectly! The length is at least 1.5 “ shorter than the 30Wx30L, and the waist is nice and snug without feeling constricted. Maybe the looser fit is to allow for another base layer to wear for skiing. Since I only wear this for walking around downtown in Maine cold weather, the smaller size fits perfectly. Love the slim fit and it works well with short booties. Love the single layer material keeping me warm without any bulk like those flannel lined jeans. The pockets are slanted and positioned in the front rather than the sides, which I think make the pants more sleek. The only thing I don’t like is the stiff edge of the pockets. Otherwise perfect for me. So go for a smaller size unless you like a very loose fit.

Curvy? Sizing may be an issue
Besides the sizing issue, these pants are great. I've found that waterproof pants or pants lined with fleece sometimes leave you shapeless. However, these pants provide a great shape. BUT they have absolutely no give through the hip. I am a curvy size four and probably have a little more behind than an average sz 4, but slim thighs and and a small waist. I ordered a sz 28 after sending the sz 27 back. The pants fit, but are highly uncomfortable when sitting or doing any activity that requires you to use the top part of your thighs. I ended up not even wearing these pants on my trip. They were just too uncomfortable, and the tightness made the pockets hard to zip and unzip. I am glad I bought the COCOLEGGINGS Womens Fleece Lined Outdoor Waterproof Hiking Mountain Pants as a back-up. I am 5'8, and the pants were a little on the shorter side, but this wasn't really an issue for me since I was tucking them into snow boots. I would say give them a try but know that you may have to play around with the sizing.
