Top quality castors. Heavy and solid. You can tell they are good quality by the weight and the smooth roller action.

They do the job very well although it was quite a job getting the old fittings out. I'm not very sure that the new collars that hold the casters are so great but so far everything seems to be working well and there are no big issues. I got a whole pack because I had confidence about this and I know that casters of the other chairs are bound to follow the same path. It is nice to have a chair that moves now! As an aside it is a shame that modern furniture is not made in the same way as the old ones! This is a Parker Knoll chair from the mid-1970s and it is absolutely perfect in every way still without any frame problems whatsoever and the upholstery is still excellent – it is probably better to buy good quality at the outset if you can rather than the junk which is around – a newer chair we bought as an extra from a well-known sofa manufacturer has collapsed within four years- lucky I didn't take the four-year interest-free credit!

Our old bed castors had collapsed and were in danger of tearing the carpet, these are vey good quality and easy to fit.

Fitted these on an old multi york sofa Multiyork went bust several years ago so original parts are not available. I had to take the whole castor off wheel and the part the locks onto the frame. These castors went in perfectly. As these are not exactly the same size wheel as the old ones i had to replace all the castors so the sofa di not rock on the higher castors once done things were fine.

I felt the description could have been more helpful. When they arrived it was not possible to use them on our sofa and I had to return. They do not include the receptors into which the castor must fit.

Second time I’ve ordered these. First time for chairs and then again for a heavy king size bed. Easy to fit very strong and good value for money.
