My daughter has had this more than half of the school year now. It has held up great, no ripping on straps or anywhere that I have noticed and her backpack is HEAVY. She really likes the pocket that rests up against her back as it is a good place to keep valuables, such as her phone, as they are not allowed to have them on their person at school. The only disadvantage is that the aqua color does get dirty easily, but we have washed her bag several times now and it still holds up. It's been a great backpack so far. I would purchase again if needed.
