Looks great and easy to install. The metal appears to be 1/4” thick.

I think this bash plate is as good as anything the Harley catalog has to offer at the Chrome desk at my Harley dealership. It's thicker than most other options, and seems to be really well formed and machined. Matches up to the frame mounting points for perfect fit with included hardware (and some points can use existing) with a finished look that's fitting the Pan America - it's got that wrinkle black powder coat that's rough-looking but still finish-quality, and I suspect it can take a good bash and keep one's oil inside one's case. Haven't hit anything worse than an angry branch or two with it so far but I'll report back once it's done its job on something major - an event I hope doesn't occur, but it happens sooner or later to all of us. A very nice skid/bash plate that I do recommend.
