Q: I have bought 3 750ml Cuprinol garden furniture stain oak, and I have chosen the wrong colour needed mahogany, can I return them and swap for mahogany

I would think so, just via usual amazon returns.

Q: What coverage does the 750ml tin say it achieves? I want to use on a picnic bench but don't know if one tin is enough

I use approx. 1 and three quarters of these tins every year. I paint 2 wooden benches, 1 two seater, 1 three seater, a large garden table, a steamer chair, 3 large single wooden chairs, a small wooden coffee table, and a free standing bird table. Some I paint with more than 1 coat. I have been doing this for about 5 years and all this outside all year in Yorkshire wooden furniture, no covers, has stood up well. Hope this helps.

Q: Is the mahogany finish satin or matt?

The tin says Matt, but I would say the finish is smoother or more shiny than Matt Probably depends on the finish of the wood being coated. I put several coats onto wood sanded to 240 grit.

Q: Can i use this paint for upvc windows?

This woodstain is not suitable uPVC. We'd recommend Dulux Weathershield Multisurface Quick Dry Satin instead.

Protects well.

Easy to use and does provide water resistance. Needs at least two coats. It sits on the surface and does not penetrate the wood. Can be removed with a hot air gun and scraper.
