My old 3DS XL finally reached the point it couldn't hold a charge for a day, or play very long. I checked the battery and it looked puffy, so I sent it off to be recycled and looked for a new battery. There are lots out there. I picked this one at random. The price was good, and I liked that it came with a screwdriver made to fit the device. It took a while to arrive, but I expected that, as it's a battery.Installation was very easy. I just unscrewed the bottom of the 3DS XL, pried the outer shell off, and slid this right into the slot where the original battery had been. Then I closed everything up, plugged this in, and left it alone to charge for a few hours.Instantly, it's like having a brand new 3DS XL all over again! The charge lasts forever (okay, for a long time). I never have a power failure or any other issues while playing. I'm very happy with this battery.

This revived my New 3DS and increased the gaming time! Also, the fact that it comes with the little screwdriver really means a lot.

Great replacement battery for 3ds xl

Bought the battery for my modded 3ds. Old battery would last maybe an hour. 3 if I wasn't playing anything heavy. This battery seems to be working as intended. Handheld now lasts about 3 hours before draining to halfway during file transfers and gameplay. Unsure about it actually being better than original battery as the old one lasted years and I don't know necessarily how well it lasted originally. I just know I needed a replacement due to it starting to bloat.

I have a New 3DS LL. This came in a little box and included a screwdriver. Great value and good quality.The battery life is good, my 3DS would only stay on for 45 minutes before because I had an inflated battery. Now I don't have to charge as often. I play 30 to 60 minutes here and there (no 3D mode) and find that I only need to charge once a week or even longer.It got to me fast, and works as it should.

good battery. about a half hour extra life than my old battery replacement. This test was taken after the very first full charge (about 4 hours) after getting it in the mail. Should get better after breaking in the new battery also. LONG LIVE THE 3DS! \m/
