Royal Doulton 1815 Collection 11.4 Dinner Plate, White

I have all my dishes from 1815 collection and was looking for a couple of mid size serving bowls, those fit the bill perfectly. I love the quality and modern look at a decent price.

I got this dish as a water bowl for my ball python. It's perfectly sized, giving her enough room to soak (at least for now) without being unnecessarily deep, The porcelain cleans easily and is better at inhibiting bacterial growth than other commonly-available materials. It's also a fraction of the price of most marketed "reptile water bowls." It appears well-made and durable.I'm sure these would be great to eat out of, too.

Just buying replacements. Arrived packaged very well. Absolutely love these bowls.

I have no issue with the product as I’ve received others this week in good shape.But who thought to wrap English bone china in just one sleeve of bubble wrap and then plop it into a box for delivery across the country and hope it gets there in one piece? No one using their frontal lobe I’m sure.Come on San Antonio fulfillment center, have some forethought and use two sleeves next time. Ugh.Wedding gift, place setting for 8 now only for 7. Just sweet! This place is nice. However, the pictures are a lil deceiving. The bowl is a bit more shallow then l was expecting. That said, it's nice. I will see how it holds up in the microwave and overtime l can comment on quality durability. Overall , happy with my purchase.Update:I'm in love with my new plate/ bowl/ dish that l had to add the last star.

I have been steadily adding to my Royal Doulton 1815 dishes by purchasing serving dishes, trays, and "pasta bowls" like this, which are really small serving bowls. I purchased this white pasta bowl as an extra to a set of four colored pasta bowls. Unlike the larger white serving bowl in this line, this pasta bowl does not have the white-on-white dipped edge but is rather all white. It does have the line's swirl at the bottom.Yes, you could use this bowl (and the others) to serve up a generous portion of, say, spaghetti and meatballs; however, I like mine to serve small side dishes, especially since there are usually only two of us. The bowl is microwave- and dishwasher-safe.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I am very happy with these plates. They are well-made, the white colors are exactly what I was looking for (less contrast than what the pictures show), and the perfect size for salads, smaller meals, or snacks.

Love these bowls. The date is stamped into the inside, which is a regal touch. Coloring is all white. (Looks two-toned in picture, it it’s not.)
