Q: Does anyone know the caffeine content of this tea?

Orange Pekoe or Black Tea prepared the normal way should have 40 to 50 mg per 8 ounce cup. Different steepins can raise or lower from 20 to 80 mg per cup.

Q: what is difference in yellow label and regular?

The yellow label tea is granular in texture, regular tea is shredded leaves. I bought this tea accidentally four years ago and discovered that I much prefer brewing iced tea with the Yellow Label Tea. I make 2 1/2 gallons of iced tea every two days, so a lot of yellow label is used. I use cut leaf (shredded) tea for brewing hot tea.

Q: How is this different from the regular loose leaf Lipton? (Not yellow label.) I've tried the yellow label and I don't taste any difference.

I don't know what you mean by regular loose Lipton, but this particular tea is "Orange Pekoe No.1" from India with Lipton brand and yellow label classification of Lipton. It is Orange Pekoe No.1 and I am satisfied with this merchandise as a good quality for daily use luxurious tea, as I use this 2lbs package for 2-2.5 months. Of course there are many much more expensive Orange Pekoe No.1 from India and Cylon(Sri Lanka), which I use sometimes in high tea occasion. Lipton's loose tea in yellow box has no indication of origin and type of tea and very very cheap. I don't even try but I think perhaps better than tea bag if properly brewed in the pot.

Q: How does this compare to the Tetley's loose tea?

I've never tried Tetley tea. The Lipton has a fresh, clean taste. I have been buying it for several years.
