This is hands-down the best facial skin care I have ever used. I swear by this and won’t go anywhere else for as long as I live. I saw a major improvement in my skin since using this. I use it everyday after a shower to bring moisture back into my skin.There is barely a scent, it has a slight oiliness upon first application but then it absorbs into your skin and your skin is hydrated and not oily! This little jar goes a long way and lasted me and my boyfriend (multiple daily users) a few good months before we needed another one. Worth the price!

I've ordered several different brands at this point, and this one is tied for first. I had to get used to the more balmy texture than whipped, but this one has seemed to stay fresh longer? I don't know if that can be related? My other favorite tallow also started out scentless, but after maybe 2 months started to have a bit of a rancid oil smell. It's been several months and this one still smells like nothing.

Five stars! This product is amazing. I’ve probably have purchased this about 5 times and I got my whole family on it. Amazing moisturizer for day and night although I mainly use at night.

Very moisturizing and absorbs into the skin making it soft and happy! Love for my hands in the winter as well!

It’s a great option with clean ingredients. I have sensitive skin that is prone to comedones. I feel like this product has not caused any new inflammation in my skin. It has a dewy finish and a little goes a long way. I come out thick from the jar but if you warm it up in your hands, it applies very easily. It’s very effective at hydrating the skin and sometimes I even use it as a body moisturizer. My only complaint is the consistency of the product. I have ordered it three separate times and all those times I have gotten a completely different texture and smell. The first one I got was incredibly liquid and grimy. The second one was slightly grimy and was a thicker more sold texture. The third time, my current jar, is very smooth and has no grime. It also smells better (less like beef fat) which is a good sign. I think that the company must work on keeping the product consistent or add a warning saying that every batch slightly differs.

Based on the reviews I read, I knew it would be a solid as opposed to a cream. So no one should be surprised by this. It doesn’t take much to “warm” it up to spread it. Plus it doesn’t take much of the product to cover an area. Once you use it a few times it’s even easier to get it out of the jar. This has been a superior product from a whipped version (different brand) I was using. It covers nicely and lasts for the day.

March 2025I purchased a jar of Santa Cruz's beef tallow last year. It is a great product and I thought to purchase it again.This purchase was also a beef tallow product from Santa Cruz, but it is different: beef tallow, beeswax and honey.As between the two, this product is more dense - more waxy (not surprising because of the beeswax). Don't notice the honey by smell or otherwise. Takes effort to get this product onto the skin because of its density, but it seems to plump the skin just as the other Santa Cruz tallow product does.Once on the skin, the product seems to absorb - so you wouldn't notice the initial greasiness. I have been applying it twice daily - morning and evening.
