I have always been interested in trying Chromebook as a thin cloud-oriented client. But the price seemed to be too high.I've bought a previously enjoyed one just to test what it's like.So, I have controversial feelings. I like the simplicity and intuitive interface, deep integration with the Google environment. Everything works well for a regular user.I'm an IT system engineer and would like to have access to the background of the system. In the case if you do need a linux terminal, it's possible to install a VM with debian, but it's not the same.And anyway, I put 5-star score on the laptop for the price I paid.

Worst chromebook ever, keyboard not working and it shutdown automatically and guess what return is not possibleAvoid this product!

The Lenovo 14E works amazingly for the price, this will be a comprehensive review on it,to start off:Screen: The screen as far as I know is a 1920x1080p TN screen, the 1080p aspect is great for the price, its clear, and I spot any pixels on the screen from a fair distance away although the TN aspect is mediocre, the colors are washed out and the blacks are basically gray. 3.5/5Battery: this is a pretty decent aspect about the chromebook too, it lasts around 5-7 hours on average use of youtube, chrome, whatsapp etc with play store enabled, the battery that it came with is amazing, its a usb C charger that the chromebook can be charged on either side with a usb C port on both sides, it charges the chromebook and other usb C items very fast, the charger is also very light and not bulky. 4.5/5Performance: The performance is the overall weakest part of the chromebook, the chromebook while just scrolling 1-3 tabs is pretty decently smooth, as soon as more tabs or an extra app opens, it starts struggling hard, the 4 gb ram and the old AMD a4 9120-c doesnt help the performance, although for the price the performance is just alright. The cooling is great though, its effectively silent and its always cool no matter what situation. 3.5/5Keyboard and Touchpad: The keyboard is excellent, its very clicky and you can type consistenly for hours without strain, burst typing isnt a great idea though on this keyboard. The touchpad is pretty good, all the gestures work well and the click is great, although it does not have visible buttons which is a downside.4/5Ports: The chromebook has a usb C port on each side which can used to charge it on both sides, it has a microSD slot, a combo audio and mic 3.5mm jack, and a USB 2.0 port on each side, the ports are pretty well rounded and the usb C charging is a great plus although no HDMI ports are present. a keyboard and mouse can be used and it works well. 4/5overall id say the chromebook for 200 aed is a steal, id be happy to recommend it to a fellow family member/friend.

I bought it for my child, keyboards stopped working after one week and it automatically shutdown, the seller is very supportive and he gave me full return, even after the return window was closed, so i gave the seller full credit, a very nice gentleman

This is an excellent purchase considering I got it for 165 AED as part of Amazon's sale.For that price point it's value for money.I would suggest not to buy it at it's full price because it's not worth it without a discount or a deal.

Am very happy with the chromebook,english keyboard,sleek.just love it...very fast to download the page.Just like new....doesn't look like refurbished.its just woooaaaah.Thanks alot saved alot of money buying expensive laptop.
