They Grow (not litteraly) on You
I was anxious to have the four rugs I purchased delivered as we had just had our bathroom remodeled. We had saved for years to be ble to afford to have this done and the rugs were about the last thing we purchased. When we received them I hurriedly them out of the bags and placed them on the newly tiled floor. They matched the new navy blue vanity perfectly and after shaking them out looked soft and lovely. A few days later I noticed what looked like white threads poking their heads up from the inside of the carpets. I felt them - it appeared to be a plastic kind of material. I looked at the tags on the back of the rugs and it stated that these might "threads" might do this and to not pull them out, but to cut them off instead. Odd, but okay, I'd do it! The threads kept poking up so I washed all of the rugs thinking this might alleviate the issue. It did help a bit, but for about a month I was clipping white plastic threads out of the four rugs - Ugh! I have washed the rugs about three times now along with clipping white threads and they are looking better and that makes me happier. The other things I'm not so thrilled about is that they really need to be vacuumed as you cannot seem to shake small debris out of them - I have tried. And, if you don't vacuum them fairly regularly, they looked matted down instead of fluffed up. I still love the color, they are soft on our feet and they seem to absorb water nicely when we get out of the shower. Once you get used to cutting the white threads, wash them a few times, and get used to vacuuming them frequently - they really are nice rugs!
