I purchased this HHSOET Metal 8 Outlet Power Strip specifically to help with cable management for my home desk setup, which consists of an IKEA wooden tabletop with separate legs. Attaching the power strip to the underside of the desk was incredibly easy. Instead of using the provided screws, I opted for 3M Dual Lock tape, which has held the strip securely in place for the past four months without any signs of loosening. This was a great no-permanent-holes solution for my desk.The build quality of this power strip is impressive. The powder-coated black metal casing feels very sturdy and robust, and the power cord is thick and solid, giving me confidence that it can handle the various devices I have plugged in.One of the main reasons I chose this particular power strip was the wide spacing between the outlets. One thing that I have been doing for many years is that as soon as I get a new desk I try to conceal a couple of power strips under the edge closer to the wall. It helps me keep the underside of my desk from turning into a cable jungle. For the last desk swap I decided to get something larger and with metal casings, so I picked up two of these.I did not even screw them into the desk. Instead I used VHB tape, 5 months and counting and they still feel rock solid.And that gives me 16 outlets plus the strip that came embedded into the top of the desk. Which is fantastic. And their spacing is excellent. I can actually use all 16 of the outlets. In a couple of cases with non-standard power bricks I used some 12-inch power cord extensions that I bought here 11 years ago and they still work really well.And I don't have to crawl under my desk to plug things. I like them so much that I am planning to do it again if/when it is time to replace my son's desk.

This is awesome. It's heavy duty with about a 3 ft cord, with a 3 prong 110v plug that is sized for the job. The case is metal and the individual receptacles are wide spread with ample room for any type of plug. I mounted mine to the back of a utility table in the kitchen that holds all my small appliances. It works great as a power strip for that, but it's versatile enough for many uses. Simply plug it in and you're good to go.

Well made and plenty of room for larger power bricks. I purchased four of these to replace the cheap plastic ones I had. No more fire hazard with the plastic ones.

Using a few of these in my shop, just drilled in some screws, plugged em in and they work. What more can you ask for! It's been a few months and no problems at all.

This power strip has been working out well for me so far. It's got 8 outlets which is more than enough for my needs - I like having some extra space just in case I need to plug something else in. The metal construction feels sturdy and the switch works smoothly. Plus, it comes with a surge protector built right in, which is always a nice touch (especially since i once had a power surge fry my entire computer system, what a nightmare).The mounting holes made it easy to attach this power strip under my desk - just drilled some holes and screwed it right in. The cord length is good too, I didn't need any extensions or anything. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase. It's functional, reliable, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Just plug your stuff in and forget about it - that's my motto when it comes to power strips (and life in general, really).
