Perfect. Just what I needed. It took a little figuring to get it installed just right but that was my door not the product.

Just make sure there isn't too large of a gap under your door.

FYI the description for this product is incorrect. I ordered a replacement and it's the same problem. There are no self-adhesive strips. This can only be mounted with screws.

I have a garage with a door that won’t stay open and I wanted a different option besides a normal doorstop. This design stays out of the way when not in use it’s a very small footprint on the ground. I like how it works, but it barely holds the door from shutting because the design is a magnetic slide instead of a magnet to magnet. The piece that mounts to the door has a magnet and the piece that mounts to the ground has a piece of metal that flips up when a magnet attracts it. Keep that in mind if you’re looking to buy this, it will work better for lighter doors. Both pieces can be screwed in or use 3m tape. Both are provided in the kit. I hope this helps someone. Overall cool product. I will see how well it lasts, but I may need to find an alternate option.
