Works great!!
First thing, I’m not a groomer, just an Oorang Airedale owner who is like 8 hours away from the nearest groomer who does hand-stripping. Picture 1 is before on her back, pic 2 you can see her side is “in process”, pic 3 is after on her back.Second, these tools took way longer to come in than originally estimated (I’m talking like add an extra two weeks). These were the perfect size for my hands, but I’m a woman with average sized hands. They are very high quality, and sharp. They clean easy, and I thought they worked great. I did a lot of YouTube video watching to get the hand motions correct, so if you are doing this to save money you need to do the same thing.Hand stripping is a LONG process on my dog, who is 70 lbs, so consider if your dog can take that. But the amount of hair you get off will astound you. I promise. My dog is definitely happy to not have the extra fur weighing her down during summer, and this is a healthy process for wire-haired breeds. Very similar to sheep that have to be sheared because they can’t shed the hair naturally. Can’t wait to do it again in a couple of months!

Good set
My 11 month old German Wirehaired Pointer was in serious need of a trim. Did my research, watched a few YouTube videos, and stripped her myself with this set. Super happy with the results, and no more getting stickers all over her!

nice grade of knives
I have two Schnauzers and I have decided not to clip them but to card and strip them instead. I like the outcome. The natural coat is a much nicer, better coat for them instead of clipping them and dealing with all of the undercoat which makes them hot in the summer and if they are clipped, they are cold in the winter. Stripping the coat is to me much nicer and natural looking. You could still trim with scissors to reduce the length of hair
