This Organic Lettuce Seed Pod Kit arrived with everything you would need to start a lettuce garden.The Grow Sponge fits well in the baskets that are provided. The holes to insert the seeds are quite large compared to other pods/sponges that I have used. That's a big plus.Fertilizer is included and easy to use. Grow domes are included, however, they don't fit well.The stickers for the baskets are Very Sticky, so you may end up having to remove it from your hydroponic unit if it overlaps the top of the basket. Use a bit of lotion to remove the residue. There are More Than Enough seeds to get you started. I like that it is Non GMO. I can use it for future plantings in my Aero Gardens as well as in pots.As my title stated, some steps are Not necessary. You DO NOT need to pre-soak the Grow Sponge before using it. When you place it in your hydroponic unit, the water will wick upwards to soak the sponge. Skip that step.Pre soaking the seeds is also unnecessary. Place it in the Grow Sponge , water wicks upwards, your seeds are now already soaking in moisture.I planted my seeds and within 48 hours, I already have signs of germination. Photos included. YMMV.I've been growing lettuce hydroponically for several years and can say that this product is a winner. Get it for yourself, a family member, as a gift for a friend, etc.

Update: So, seller contacted me about my concerns and gave me a couple of suggestions to help with growth. They have issued me a refund. I am happy with their customer service and attempting to make things right.So, some good things and bad things. So, the tomato seeds seem to be working, got really good growth on both of them, no tomatoes yet, but it's only been a little over a month I think. They have grown to 5-6 inches. The strawberries on the other hand.... I have replanted the white strawberries twice; they have not sprouted at all. The red strawberries have sprouted a little, but slow going, they are about an inch or 2 tall. Now, I used a couple of my starter soil things from a previous batch of a different brand, Those I used for the tomatoes, so I don't know if these starter soil pods are really any good. I have used them for a couple other seeds, the growth is slow going or not working at all. So, I might try the seeds that haven't worked so far in a different soil pod to see if that is an issue. I do not like the little plastic cups that cover the pods, they don't go over the baskets very well. I will not buy this set again and will just buy the brand that I previous got beforehand, I had just wanted the seeds that came with it, so thought of getting them with soil pods at the same time.

I am soooo excited, I meow can add lettuce to my little tomato garden!! The lettuce kit is a perfect addition, to add to my INBLOOM smart garden… which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE 💗🙏✨and once my lettuce sprouts I will have a whole salad growing… I absolutely can’t wait!! The media could not be loaded.  I tried the paper towel method which it recommends but I forgot about it too long so some seeds withered. But I tried again but this time just putting the seeds directly in the aero garden pods and turned it on and set it and forget it and a few days later seeds sprouted!

I love the seeds

Had a hydroponic base but wanted to grow some new seeds. This kit is super easy to and the seeds have sprouted very well! I use a grow light but this is much easier to use than planting them in soil.Only slight downside is they don't have great instructions on the nutrients--so I just opted to not use them.Overall, will get again once I go through all the supplies.

It says you get 350 plus seeds but instructions say to put 3-5 seeds in a pod. You can't reuse the pods so what is the point of so many seeds that come in a static clung plastic wrap. Seeds end up everywhere and cling to everything. They must soak for 12 hours then you try to get the wet seeds out and placed into the pods. You have to mix the plant food which lasts only 5 months. It's unnecessarily difficult to use this kit. Thats all before you even know if they work. We always have something growing in our Areogarden which is easy to use. But this method you'd be better off, and less expensive, to buy seed packs and put them in a pot of dirt.

This product is highly quality and easy to use! The kit comes with everything you need. I am excited to watch my flowers, tomatoes and strawberries grow! Will definitely order another!
