Hi - is it possible to buy and fit new magnetic strip - not the one on the flap but the one on the dog flap frame at the bottom

I’ve never seen anything other than a replacement flap

I have the original petsafe dog flap which is made of solid but brittle plastic. Can i replace it with this flap as this seems more flexible?

I had the solid plastic, it made a awful racket and then broke after a couple of months, I replaced it with the soft close one 200% better, not the same size so had to get a bigger hole cut but definitely definitely worth it, have had it for4 years now and still brilliant
