Smells weird but saves my car seat from my soggy post swim butt so I'm not complaining.

I like to go to the pool, the beach, and boating on the river in the summertime, and I often come home still in my wet bathing suit. The fabric seats on my Honda CR-V really needed to be covered so they wouldn't get wet. I was using some other seat covers last year, but they required a lot of buckling and tucking and fitting elastic over things, so that once they were on they were too much of a hassle to take off again.What I like about this seat cover is how easily and quickly I can just unroll it and put it on the seat when I need it, and how I can take it off just as quickly. While it's not yet summer, so I haven't tried sitting on it in a wet bathing suit, I have been riding around town with it on to see if it stays put. It does. And it's comfortable to sit on. I really like the blue color with the black edging, and I like the simplicity of the design. There are two elastic straps on the back and one on the seat of the cover and two elastic straps with hooks in the front that hook up under the seat.To dress your seat, you just bunch up the cover and slide the bottom elastic on the back of it over the back of the seat. Then you follow with the top elastic and then you cover your seat's head with the "hood." Then you smooth out the cover and clip the bottom straps underneath. I didn't even bother with the elastic under the seat part. It's a good size and fits well over the seat without getting in the way of the seat belt or feeling too big.Overall, I'm very happy with this cover and look forward to using it all summer.

Got a new-ish car and this has been great when going to the beach or hiking when it's raining, easy way to protect my seat without having to change or wrestle with towels etc.

The car seat cover is made out of neoprene rubber (think of a scuba wet suit) That is lightweight and durable. Not a fabric that is treated to become waterproof. That material is also very easy to keep clean, so if there are any bad spills or dried-on spills, they will rinse right off with very little scrubbing.It has a sewn-on headrest cover, which if your car seat will accommodate that, should hold the car seat cover in place. The bands that hold the rest of the cover in place are sewn on both sides, so they have to slip over your car seat. That should make it easy to stay on or take off.

This reeks of some chemical smell. I have washed it twice and have it air drying trying to clear the smell. Otherwise there is no way I am putting this in a brand new truck with leather seats. If the smell dissipates, I will increase the rating. If not, I will be returning.Three weeks later hanging to air out. Still stinks. It's going back.

This is super easy to put on to cover your seat. It's great to have if you spend a lot of time at the beach. I got it to replace a seat cover that I have that was always sticking to my legs when it was hot. This one doesn't do that. I have a CR-V. It doesn't wrap around the seat like other covers, but it's actually the perfect size - hangs over a little bit, but not so much that it looks sloppy. It's neoprene so water rolls off of it easily. For the price it's a good buy.
