Very good build quality and durability. Standard waterflow, have not noticed any color fade. I also got some quick disconnects for it from Harbor Freight that make install very easy since I store my hose in the garage to keep it out of the elements. Good length hose so I can reach both sides of my house since I only have 1 spicket in my front yard. Doesn't tangle easily since its nice and thick walled.

Received two of the 75 foot versions of this Guitrees garden hose about a week ago. So far, I am very impressed with them. I've been using hybrid rubber hoses, and they don't hold up. After several years in the sun, they get sticky on the outside. I replaced a 50-footer and a 100 footer hybrid with these two 75 footers. 100 ft hoses are too long, because heavy and get tangled much more easily than shorter hoses. Anyway, the two new Guitrees hoses are good old fashioned rubber hoses. The fittings are crimped on, and the female and has a spring around it. I'm really impressed with the quality so far.

Let me share with you one of the principles that I have taught my children and try to live by myself. If you’re going to spend money on something for your house, don’t buy junk, just to have to replace it in a few years. I believe you should buy quality that will last a lifetime. This hose is consistent with that principal. It is high-quality. Too many times I’ve been cheap and bought hoses that kink, twist, cut off the water flow, or leak. I have used this hose almost daily for a month now and none of those things have happened. It is a high-quality hose with quality brass fittings. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for and in the case of this hose, it has exceeded my expectations. on a sidenote, I really like the red color!

Time will tell how long the rubber survives in the wild but will come back and change rating if it degrades substantially

Good hose but easy to kink. Very soft. Kinks more easily than my old hose. I hope will hold the durability as my 23 years old hose. Time tells.

I have had many hoses in the past. I am 73 years old and hate a hose that is stiff in the winter and kinks constantly. As a result in the past 45 years, I have only purchased all rubber hoses. My current hose has lasted 21 years, but it’s finally giving out to Weak side walls creating a bulge. I purchased this new hose because of its construction and dual purpose for hot and cold water, although I don’t use it in hot water, but this construction makes this hose much more durable than just a cold water hose. It weighs approximately 9 1/2 pounds for a 50 foot hose. Some of the other heavier duty hoses weigh somewhere around 10 1/2 pounds. But the unique construction should make this hose last a long time. After receiving it, I hooked it up, let it warm up in the hot Texas sun on my driveway and then went out and started to use it. I tried to make it kink as best I could, but was unable to create a one. So far, I am very pleased with this hose. If you want a hose that will last for years stay away from the cheap ones and spend a few extra bucks now and save money in the future. I believe this hose will fit that bill . If things change I will update this review later.

I bought this 50 foot Guitrees "garden" hose for exactly that reason, "My Garden"!! I wanted a good hose, to add to one I already had which was another brand made in the USA. I picked this hose because it seemed to be a good high quality hose compared to all the other ones on Amazon. I bought this hose in early March 2025, and started using it about six weeks later. The first time I used it, it was fine. After it sits with water in it longer than two hours, I get what appears to be soapy water until the hose is completely run through. I can only assume it is a chemical release from the interior of the hose, something I would "Never" spray on my garden plants. Consequently, every time I use this hose I have to purge the water from it first, until it runs clear. I've been using this hose for seven weeks now hoping this will end, but after all this time, and running "thousands" of gallons through it now, it shows no signs of easing up. Because I use this hose on my lawn and gardens daily, and having to "purge" it every time, I cannot recommend this hose, and I honestly wish I would have bought another brand!!

Works great! We have 4 of them around our house. This hose is very strong. We have a sprinkler system we put in for the side of our driveway and this hose runs across the driveway and we drive over it with our cars and it's fine. Highly recommend.
