Both of my children were terrified of going under water due to frequent ear infections and not knowing how to swim. These floaties completely changed that—they gave them the confidence to get in, move around independently, and actually enjoy swimming without clinging to us the whole time.The adjustable body straps are a huge plus, and unlike traditional life vests, these don’t ride up around their necks or push them awkwardly deeper into the water. We originally used the large sit-in floaties with sunshades when they were toddlers, which were great for private pools.
