This is a game changer! I have always used the plastic bags and I generally get 1-2 trips out of them, but this seems like it will work so much better! The fabric is thick (but not bulky), the tiny motor is so strong and the zipper seals very well. I didn't think the zipper was hard to pull like others have said. As someone who frequently travels and engages in outdoor activities, I bought this vacuum bag and conducted a little experiment to decide whether to keep this Black Friday order. I used the same amount of clothing to test the performance of this product in terms of compression, packing convenience, luggage space/weight utilization, and so on.To cut to the chase, this nylon vacuum bag can serve as the primary storage solution for travel clothing, especially for lazy people like me who will not spend a lot of time to separate and fold. Plastic vacuum bags are more economical, but I've had situations where the bags tore or leaked during my travels, leaving me helpless. So I gave up on them.As shown in the pictures, this product's compression efficiency far exceeds that of the compression packing cubes I have, and is comparable to plastic vacuum bags.As for packing convenience, it took me half an hour to pack and unpack these clothes for the experiment. I didn't specifically follow the techniques shown on YouTube to roll or fold the clothes tightly to maximize space utilization; I simply folded them and put them in. The packing time for both the nylon vacuum bags and the plastic vacuum bags was around 5 minutes, while the compression cubes took me 15 minutes. The time spent on packing cubes was mainly due to folding the clothes to fit their size and struggling with the compression zippers. (If the clothes are packed too tightly, the zipper of the compression cube becomes difficult to close.)The weight of packing cubes is approximately 10 ounces, while the weight of the nylon vacuum bag is about 6 ounces. As for the plastic vacuum bags, well... we can probably ignore the weight. They accommodated the same amount of clothing.regarding the difficult-to-pull zippers, as an experienced rower, I've used this type of airtight zipper before and surprisingly seeing it is used here. If you come across a zipper that's easy to pull, it's definitely not airtight but rather waterproof, and it may start air leaking within half a day. By the way, this nylon airtight zipper is commonly found on Amazon dry bags with a zipper seal, priced around $80-100. Not as good as the high-quality plastic teeth airtight zippers used by Yeti but in terms of airtightness, it's sufficient.The pump is quite tiny. As the instruction said, when I put the windproof coat under the valve, it seems not exhausting the air at all. After put coat under layer, it start working, not as good as home vacuum cleaner, but light and small enough for travelling.Overall, using either one bag of this set is enough to meet my travel clothing needs for approximately 5-7 days, along with some small pouches to organize underwear, shoes, and other travel essentials. A worthy investment for frequent travelers and outdoor enthusiasts.

I used one bag to compress my pillow and PJs down into a backpack to shove under the plane seat. Worked like a charm! Week’s worth of clothes for carryon. Heavy duty bag and zipper. Read the instructions for the tips on getting the zipper fully locked in. Rechargeable little vacuum works well but the button is very easy to push. It bumped inside of my backpack and turned on. I’ll just find something to carry it in for the next trip. Worth the money. These bags are very well made.
