I've used many different types and brands of knee pads but always seemed to be some usually fairly minor issue I didn't care for. I ordered some others very similar to this one and had to return them. Both had add-on extension straps for larger legs but I didn't care for them as I could foresee they would come off and I'd lose them or I would have simply be dealing with them one way or another. When I put them on, I do not wish t have to mess with them until time to remove. This pair is the best I've come onto that works for me re comfort and ease of use. The only issue I had was the first couple times using them, the end of one velcro piece started to detach from the strap. The stitching was only a single stitch, it REALLY needs to be double or triple stitched where the top velcro strap is pulled from. My wife didn't think her sewing machine would handle the thickness to repair it for me so I used some Gorilla Glue for permanent reattachment. It seems like it'll do the job for me permanently. Other then that one minor issue, I give this 5 stars.

She wanted to get down on the floor, but I wouldn't let her abuse her knees. She insisted, I got these and my first thought was that they look like they belong on a Storm Trooper... She's thrilled with these. I let her keep them and she says that everywhere she goes, these are an awesome help and she loves them... says she wears them all the time. She showed up here actually wearing them one day. When I pointed out that that was a bit much... she laughed and said she'd just been crawling around in the back of her pick up bed and they were a Godsend... and they're so comfortable, she didn't bother taking them off!

I have problems with my knees and these were great at protecting them while doing my gardening. It says they are non-slip however I found they did keep sliding down my legs. I don't know if it was due to the fabric of the pants I was wearing but it was a little bothersome to have to keep pulling them back up.

One size does not fit all. I am a medium sized guy, these barely fit, to be perfect they need more Velcro so they will stay put. Bend down twice, pull up once. Other than that they are very comfortable.3/22/19 - I have changed the rating for these knee pads, the reason why is because I have now used them perhaps 6 - 8 times and they are falling apart

This does what it is supposed to do - protects the knees. Only marginally successful in staying in place - I have to readjust about every 20'. The straps are way too long. I am fairly good size - 6", 240# and the straps flop around. I guess I can cut the excess off. I use these for gardening and the Velcro attracts all sorts of yard waste. I think next time I will try something with a buckle.

I have purchaced cheaoer knee pads but decided to go to a better set. The gel in the knee pads have not broken down and the Velcro still retains it ability to keep them in place all day. I have used them for laying a brick patio, working on cars and motorcycles and gardening. They have held up beyond my expectations. What will wear them out is they do not work well for welding but not much does. GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT PRODUCT. Will purchase another set when I burn enough holes in this set to make them nofunctional. The Welding holes is not a fault of the manufacturer .

I had been looking for knee pads that don’t slide down your legs when you have to constantly get up and down. With most other knee pads they slide down when you move around whether it be scooting around on the ground or standing up. With the extra large Velcro above the actual knee pads you can better “lock” them in place above the knees at lower thigh level. Yes that means a bigger and bulkier knee pad overall but worth it to stop the slippage.

Still looking for knee pads that don't slip. I have 5 pairs now. These slip like all the others
