fun little project, my friend really liked it as a gift

Don't waste your money on this. Assembling it is near impossible. My 9 year old couldn't complete this and asked for help. I've built plenty of lego and other brick kits, this one takes the cake for worst ever. It keeps falling apart. These fit together so poorly you have to force them, my fingers are brused. So disappointed. This was a gift and now we are out $35 we could have put towards something my son could actually enjoy.The step pictured, impossible. I'll have to leave the rubber bands off or it will just fall apart. Unbelievable.

This was fun for my son to build.But the torpedo launch part was very difficult to install, and it does not launch very well. At six, he definitely needed help with that part. The force of the rubber bands that are supposed to launch the torpedoes up often pop the bricks loose, and then you have to re-install the whole launcher plate again, which is no easy task. And the torpedoes never actually launch, they only partly pop up, and then the child has to pull them out pretending that they are launching. So if they are hoping for an actual launch into the air, they will be disappointed.But if you want it for the fun of building and for display, it's a good submarine set.

My grandsons received the submarine gift with elation and I cannot wait until they finish putting all the pieces together. ☝️✅😎

this build is really cool. my son loves all things ships, and vehicles so this is right up his alley. He really enjoyed building. The instructions were easy to follow for him, but he's really good. He needed help for a few parts with small pieces but thats all. The doors opening on the side is really cool and its fun to see inside and is more interactive that way. The characters are great and add to the fun of this build. Glad i purchased!

If you are looking for something authentic WW2 then this isn't it. Nuclear propulsion, missile technology came from a future era.
