For a starter home this is perfect for a baby turtle and smaller reptiles. But just know there isnt a lot of depth for water and they will grow out of it but yes it is great for starting out.

Cookie is extremely happy with this set up. Of course, he was in a 6" plastic bowl on the kitchen counter prior to moving to this condo. He seems quite happy with the ramp that he climbs often to bask in the glow of his heat lamp. He also seems to like the cave entrance as he swims through there quite often to explore the same habitat he has outside the cave. But hey, he thinks he's in new territory so I'm happy for him. I had to take the condo apart and clean it once (about a month in) because it gets a little green from the warm heat lamp. Cookie didn't seem too much worse for the wear after spending time in a very small bowl while I rinsed out the condo. But he was really happy to do a few laps when he returned home. It's quite spacious for a guy that's about 1.5" across. Very happy with this condo.

The tank is great for starters. The tank was dirty so I had to really clean it up and, once I set everything up and tried to plug in the water filter, it never came on.

I took the little pebbles out because I noticed my turtles were in fact trying to eat them. This little habitat is cute and handy. My child was gifted turtles and we had to no clue what to do but this quick purchase definitely came in handy pretty much everything you need, light works great and so does filter although it is loud. Super easy to clean!

The filter and lamp unit are rated 110V for abroad. Not suitable for 240V. The lamp started smoking and almost caught fire and the filter motor burnt out both with 2 hours! Dangerous product. Good starter kit but do not use if rated 110V for UK 240V supply. Please refund amazon.

The media could not be loaded. This cage has been great! It comes with an UVB and UVA heating lamp and a water fountain filter. So far I’ve not had any issues with the lamp or the filter and both seem great so far. Has a good remount of space to swim and a nice hideout area for him to hide and rest. If you have a small aquatic turtle and don’t want to spend 300 dollars for an expensive tank kit then I would definitely recommend this one. Especially the one with a little hideout for the turtle because turtles need a place that they can hide and feel safe which is part of its instincts. Overall great and cheap option and enough space to add plants and rocks which is on its way!
