Great design. Fits well in the hand and has good balance. The Fox 479 G10 was a little big for bare-hands, but fits well in a gloved hand. ... this one, in comparison, may end up being too small if you have large hands, or intend to use the knife with gloves.

Just got mine today and I already love it . I got the fixed blade too the fixed blade is slightly bigger . The folder the only down side of it is the lawks lock I'm left handed so it kinda digs into my palm but isn't a deal breaker or a star loss just something to keep in mind if your a lefty

Having the rough serration on the back of the blade makes it very difficult to deploy without hanging up on the pocket. It was a very poor design choice to add those saw teeth to the back of the blade. It serves absolutely no practical purpose. Also the miner lock is so stiff that it makes it nearly impossible to put away one handed.

This knife is not in any way better than a regulatin FX-599. It's not bad. It is chunky and blocky though and shreds pants. The clip is tight and the ergos are weird. It does have theLAWKSIt will do the job that's needed of it. This is actually one of my least favorite kbits. The CS Tiger claw is actually better.

I've trained in blade arts since a kid and carry a karambit to protect myself when I'm out walking my dog. Doug Marcaida did a great job with the ergonomics of the blade and I like it better than the Fox 599, 479, and even the Spyderco Karahawk . The quality is great as well.
