Functional but awful material
I don't think of myself as particularly sensitive to textures, but maybe I am. This changing towel is perfectly functional but I hate what it is made of. The material feels awful on my skin. It is made of micro fiber, the synthetic material that collects lint and dog hair. This item has gotten a lot of great reviews so if the feel of the material doesn't bother you, it will work great as a changing towel. It has no pockets. Also, I don't like the logo, it is front and center. I did find a changing poncho by a different company made of cotton. That one feels like a real towel, has pockets and $10.00 cheaper.

Comfortable, well made changing robe that was too narrow in the shoulders to work comfortably for me. Bothersome logo on front
I purchased this changing towel based on other reviews and in an effort to save some money. It does what it's supposed to do and fit sort of okay on me, I'm a 5'10" male with an average build. The length of the robe was fine. However, the issue for me is the shoulder width on the robe. Granted I'm a swimmer but many who purchase this item will be either swimmers or some sort of aquatic sport participant so the shoulder width is likely to be a concern for others. I could pull my arms through one at a time by shifting the robe all to the way to one side and then the other but even then it was tight. Also, while the robe seems reasonably well made, I felt like I was putting some stress on the seams which, over time, would likely lead to some tearing or other damage. Even though I had read this concern in other reviews I was prepared to ignore it but the large "Ho, Stevie" logo embroidered on the front is just too large to be ignored. Unfortunately, as Steve is my name there was that added nuisance factor.I ended up using the towel a few time and then gave it to a surfer friend of mine. I purchased a towel changing robe from DryRobe that fits me much better and allows for much easier changing. Although slightly more expensive, the DryRobe towel changing robe fits and works much better for me and there is no annoying "Ho, Stevie" printed on the front of the robe. This robe might work better for someone who is thin, like lanky teenager thin. For adults or those with broader shoulders I would approach with some care if you are actually going to use it as a changing robe. If you're just going to wear it then you should be fine; I just wouldn't expect to be able to change in it very easily.

Long and warm
Got this for my fiance. He is 6'4" and it comes to about his knees. I was worried it wouldn't cover enough for him to change out of a wetsuit while covering everything it needs to, but it seems like it will be fine (he hasn't actually used it for surfing yet). He wore it to the pool the other day and noted that it was really warm when he put it on after swimming - too warm, actually for that particular purpose.Wish it didn't say "Ho Stevie" on the front, as that looks pretty stupid, but otherwise it has been good. Took the seller's advice and washed it to minimize fuzzies which seemed like a good idea.

Great product.
Used it twice so far after surfing and it’s a nice addition to the surfing essentials. No more towel fumbles or towel adjustments when pulling your wetsuit down. The microfiber work’s great and dries you off and the hood is a nice addition on those cold winter days and it’s blowing offshore. It’s plenty baggy to move around and take your suit off and I’m a pretty big guy (6ft 230lbs). I read in the comments section about the logo being to big but I don’t agree with that person. It’s there but nothing out of the ordinary. Great job Stevie stoked on it.

I'm 6' and 235lbs... I'm an avid cyclist and use this regularly to change in/out of my cycling bibs and clothing. This is so handy, and it's roomy enough for a big guy like me. It's nice because if you're sweaty or wet it does a great job of drying you off. I recommend it to anyone who regularly needs to change clothes in a parking lot or public areas. No more fumbling around in the back seat of my truck trying to change! You may get some odd looks when people see you wearing it, but otherwise this thing is awesome for it's intended purpose. It would even make a good bath robe.

Best shower Robe!!
Thick Microfiber Surf Poncho (Wetsuit Changing Robe/Towel) [CHOOSE COLOR] (Black) I absolutely love this bath robe/ beach robeFirst the quality of the robe is spot on. I don't know exactly what type of material it is, but it definitely absorbs water quickly. It doesn't get heavy after it absorbs the water, and it doesn't feel like you are using a wet towel to dry off. I had to get use to putting the robe the same way as you put on a T-shirt.Its also great if you go to the beach to surf or just use it to change into a bathing suit publicly without exposing yourself.Pros-For the qualify of the robe and the price you get a great bargainabsorbs water quicklydoesn't feel heavy after being wetCons-no zipper or buttons. You have to wear it like you're putting on a T-shirt (not a big deal, especially if you wear clothes on a daily basis)

I'm pleased to report that it is *fantastic* for this--covers more ...
I go to the pool at my gym, and for reasons unknown the ladies' changing room is consistently set to "Arctic Blast"; so I purchased this as a way to stop freezing to death every time I finish my workout. I'm pleased to report that it is *fantastic* for this--covers more than just a plain towel, so I don't have to choose between warm shoulders or warm arms, and is absorbent enough to start drying me off just by the act of walking to my locker. For folks concerned about sizing, I'm currently a women's size 26/28--so, y'know, NOT a teensy little thing--and it fits me just fine. There's not quite enough room for me to change *within* the poncho, but it covers me up nicely for getting back into pants (it's plenty long, hits me below the knee). There's not a lot of extra room for me, so if you're larger than a 26/28 it may start getting pretty snug; but if you're a larger person looking for a cozy coverup then this is an excellent option.
