My daughter has been using these for volleyball for the past couple years and they have been very good for her, good support. Just bought her another set and have to comment on sizing, the size chart on Amazon says a small should work for 6 1/2 to 9 1/2 for women. The sizing chart on the box says a small works for women's 6-8. My daughter wears an 8 1/2. I bought the small and will probably keep them, but I should probably have gotten the medium. Hopefully the attached pic helps others. Womens small 6-8, medium 8-11, large 11-14.

This brace doesn't stabilize your ankle, basically it stabilizes your shoe so it can't move from side to side. And, if you're shoe can't move from side to side, you can't turn your ankle!My right ankle is very weak. When running, if I step on a rock or the edge of the sidewalk, my ankle turns and I get a sprain. Your ankle can't turn wearing these.3 years ago I sprained my right ankle THREE TIMES in one day hitting the potholes in Michigan! My ankle swelled up and I couldn't run for a month. I bought this the next week. No sprained ankle in 3 years!!!!I don't even need to wear this anymore, but do as a precautionary.

Reliable! I've been wearing T2's on both ankles since around 2002 while playing basketball and have never sprained my ankle with them. I have MANY times without them (leading to numerous xrays.) I am a smaller, quick, high-energy, type player and these have been fantastic while not limiting my mobility.TIP: Insert them under your insoles for better cushioning from the plastic base, and leave them in your shoes when not wearing, to make it easier to just slip into each time.

I had to give this 3 stars because I couldn't do 2.5I got 2, one for the right foot and one for the left.The right foot was phenomenal, it fit perfectly, comfortable, would have it for an entire day and wouldn't feel it. My only comment is I wish the velcro straps could swap so I only have to hook and unhook one not 2.The left was the exact opposite (yes I did the whole thing shown on video on how to reconfigure it to the left foot). Wasn't comfortable, the fit was good but the inside of the foot ended up being swollen due to the weird angle the support bean was positioned. I kept thinking I must have done something wrong, so watched the video a few times in case I missed anything but no luck. It now sits like a sad unwanted child collecting dust.

This purchase was for my husband. His foot turns in when he walks and stumbles every so often because of it. The brace keeps his foot a lot straighter which is great. The brace goes under the insole of the shoe so we may order another brace so he doesn't have to change take it out to put into a different shoe. All in all very happy with it.

I bought this item to aid me in the process of recovering from a broken foot not a vine or free to try or bought review.It has been very supportive specially during my recovery. I will say that it does take time to get use to it. The inner portion diggs in to your arch it hurts like crazy you think you get used to it, but you do forget about it after you start walking and see the support it gives you with each step you take. Like I stated it still hurts every once in a while when I Slip-In to it then I forget about the mild discomfort.Suggestion to manufacture or you future purchaser--padding for the inner lining to stick on. I ended up modifying mine with shoe dapping it helped.Started with a five star lost a star due to awkward foot cut-out and the need to modify with padding to minimize the inner lining from digging in to my foot. Yes I would and will recommend this item to some that needs maximum support specially after a broken foot.

My son sprained his ankle three times in 8 months. We finally were told about this brace. He feels a lot more secure and sure with this brace (after he was given the doctor's ok to play again after his ankle healed from the sprain).The hard plastic sides seem to give him more confidence than the tie-up material type that he used while he sprained his ankle the second and third time. The side shuffle is a little less restricted for volleyball especially if he has a brace on both ankles but overall he feels more confident and secure with this brace than others that he has tried. I highly recommend this brace to help stabilize a weakened ankle. (You may need to check with your doctor to see if this brace is best for your injury or need for stability first before using)

I am so happy I bought this brace! I have a collapsed arch on my left foot. Very painful; knee and foot fall in. 24 hours a day like a tooth ache it hurts. Brace is knocking the pain from a 10+ to less than a 1. Supports my ankle which in turn keeps my foot from falling in with the knee in tow. This brace is buying me time for having to have foot surgery. I am going back to tbe gym next week. So far so good!!!

I really needed a brace after damaging my ankle ligaments severely.I did a lot of looking around and was recommended the T2 ActiveAnkle and I'm so glad I purchased this.I got back into playing golf and the steel that run down the ankle really does support you and installs confidence back into the ankle. whether it be for starting to walk again/play sports or even if you have weak ankles this product is for you. It is strong and reliable.The only downside I would say is that it is quite wide when strapped in place so the heel of one's shoe does tend to rub. Other than that highly recommended.

Works brilliantly allowing forwards / backwards rotation but not side to side. Only thing keeping me running on fells and rough cc courses. The only downside is they do eventually wear out at the riveted joint. Last me about 18 months to 2 years of twice weekly wear.

this is a replacement for one I've had for years, so definitely recommendhave recommended to otherssuitable for either ankle

Pricey for what it is, but it really does provide a lot of lateral ankle support. I bought one years ago when I tore ligaments in my ankle to help support the ankle laterally while still allowing for a comfortable range of motion for most activities. Because of plate under foot, it does raise the height of your shoe a little which is a little annoying at first. You can always also add some insole to the other shoe to level it out.

due to a stroke I have one hand that functions and can put this on with ease with one hand had an earlier version with 3 narrow straps find the wider straps more comfortable !

Older active tennis player with weak ankles. These things completely changed my game. Great support and extremely Comfortable. Could not play without them anymore. I use them for all my racket sports ( tennis, pickleball, badminton). I highly recommend. Glad I chose the T2 over the T1, simple and good support.M

I have found the ankle support very good. Due to my high arch the stirup must be in the right place for best comfort.Very good product.

cheap flimsy plastic does not help me at all, it does not stop any of my lateral movements, It does not stop my food from flopping on to the side & does not prevent my foot from going to the right side when I walk, I still walk on the side of my foot instead of my soul, I still feel like my ankle is going to break an am extremely cautious taking steps, Was a big waste of money

I don't have ankle issues but I got these to protect my ankle bones from side impacts when doing bike tricks and they work very well for this.

it is waste.Does not serve the purpose. The velcro goes off very soon. Lower metal does not support the whole body weight as there is no good possible grip .even it does not support on walking then think about jumping etc. Yet to design properly

This has served me well. I rolled over on my ankle pretty badly and was hobbling around for four or five weeks. I bought this for a variety of activities to help stabilize the ankle and it's worked great. It doesn't work very well with soccer shin pads but besides that its great!
