Nautica Men's Belt with Dress Buckle and Stitch Comfort

This belt falls under the category of Genuine Leather belts, which many people, including myself, believe to be the top quality leather belt.This is however not true.These belts consist of layers of inferior leather (leftover leather scraps etc.) glued or sewn together, covered, in this case, with a synthetic material copying the appearance of full-grain leather.After little use the synthetic material came off where the buckle closes over the belt, exposing the cheap leather underneath.So while the overall design is rather nice, and the colour of the synthetic outer coating is rather fetching, the hole in the cover exposes the bitter truth: it's a cheap belt masquerading as good quality.The inferior leather layers on the inside help reduce the cost of these belts, making them much cheaper than full-grain leather belts.Not becoming of what is supposed to be a good quality product.I have expected more from Nautica.Basically, after little use it can now go in the bin.Next time I will definitely make sure to only buy a full-grain leather belt.

Another one of those accessories that normally cost so much that a deal makes it worth trying.Purchased in "Cognac". It was close to the shoes that we purchased in the same color - close enough that it looked like a match from the distance between waist and foot. Buckle area is subtle enough that it's not too flashy or garish.Width is just under 1.5". Waist size as described. I have doubts that it is all leather - it scratched a little too quickly and not in the way that other genuine leather items I have are scratched. That said, for the price and the frequency it will be used - it's fine and classic.

This is my 2nd belt, first I bought a brown one and really liked the quality and feel (only had it one week) so can't say how it holds up. I bought the Grey one as it looked more black but not jet black like the black belts. It came like the picture wait I would call a black belt but not jet back, so I guessed right. I think if you wanted a Grey belt you would be disappointed. I wear a 34 so the first belt I ordered a 36 it fit okay, but just barley reached my 2nd pant look, so this time ordered a 38 and perfect. Again would give it 5 stars, but don't know how they wear.

Great Quality. Ignore the review which states they received a different belt. The belt I received is exactly as shown and very nice quality. Has all of the details shown, from the debossed NAUTICA on the tip to the two tone stitching and buckle details. Looks nice but not "100% leather" as stated in the description. It's only got a cardboard-like backing, although it looks nice and is stitched well. I'm not sure how well it will hold up. I had really expected and wanted genuine leather-- back and front-- which this is clearly not. The description should be updated.

Good quality belt, well constructed. I would have rated 5 Stars, but the color was off. I ordered cognac based on a cognac shoe purchased earlier. I tried using the color based on the picture from the site against the shoe. However, with the color cognac there are so many variations of the color you would literally have to take your shoe and try to match in store to get as close to color as possible. Nevertheless, still like the belt.

Bought it, was good for a while, then the prong thing snapped. It was just sitting there on my dresser, and I guess something a little too heavy got it at a weird angle and it snapped. So yeah...good stuff.

I bought this belt to go with a newly purchased blue suit and brown shoes. The belt is very well made and feels solid where the buckle meets the leather. I have no doubts that this belt will outlive me, seeing as I will only be wearing it when I wear a suit. It looks very sharp when color-matched with a pair of shoes of a similar shade of brown.
