Ample length for hiding the cable behind the car dash
With 11.5ft of cable, there is ample length available for feeding the cable behind the dashboard and neatly through to the 12v adapter socket. It should be noted that this will also work on 24v.The fitting is USB-C so do check your satnav or dashcam device has this fitting ... although you can always purchase and adapter if not.Do be aware about the item description under "connector type" as there are a few variants available. Some are USB-C (this one), others are micro USBI especially like the tool that comes with it which makes it a lot easier to feed the cable around the dash.A good kit, quality materials and a full 5 star rating

Works
My dash cam was fairly expensive when I purchased it a few years ago. It was acting up for a few months, shutting off , or going dim. I suspected low voltage and checked the power point. It was good, so I took a chance on buying this power supply cable. The camera works perfectly again and I didn't need to buy a camera.

Thanks for the adapter!!
Needed a longer dashcam power cord to route through my Ford F350, ordered this. At first, I was disappointed when I opened the package and noticed the end that is supposed to plug into the camera is a "fat" one, that wouldn't fit the skinny U-shaped female connection on the camera. I started to process an Amazon return when the word "adapter" caught my attention. Included with the power cord, in addition to a car-trim tool, some velcro cable ties, and some sticky squares, is a "Macro-to-Mini USB Converter". I'm not sure which is which, but the fat male connector from the power cord plugs into the adapter, which has a skinnier male plug to plug into the camera! Thank you! Saved me and Amazon a return transaction.
