The iPhone 8 Plus fits snuggly in the front pocket as displayed in the image, however, the home button does not work for some reason, I even tried to change my home button settings to see if that would work and it didn't. Also, due to the second pocket behind the front pocket, you can not take photos/videos while the camera is in the case. This is not a multi-purpose case by any means. I have had other cases that worked perfectly with an armband, ability to take photos AND access the home button. I don't recommend.
