Perfect storage option for ProRes 422 HQ
This thing is awesome! Works perfectly on iPhone 16 Pro recording in ProRes 422 HQ. No issues or drops. Keep in mind; use the provided USB-C cable or equivalent. Some cables will not allow the correct transfer speeds. That’s where you will see issues recording in apps like BlackMagic Camera app and such.I see negative reviews saying folks couldn’t get it to connect to devices. It needs to be formatted using your disk utility in Windows or macOS. ExFAT is the format that allows Read and Write functions. Just a simple search on Google will tell you this. It’s not the Device that’s the issue, it’s the NVMe drive that needs the formatting. Its price point is right on! It’s super simple to use and get connected. It it’s not ugly or in the way.

Excellent magsafe 2230 M.2 ssd, get the updated "Pro" version
This is a well built and made iPhone accessory. I added a 2230 SSD and got about 900mbs read/write.It came with two cords and it fits perfectly with my iPhone. Just remember to reformat your ssd to be able to read on an iPhone too. APFS for files and Exfat for high end iPhone video recording or Exfat for a Android. There is an accessory you can buy to cool it but so far it's been cool after usage. I love that it has a magnet on the front and back so that you can still add your magsafe accessories too. A USB c power pass through is a nice touch also.***Update***I upgraded to the Pro version that has three USB c outlets, this is for the USB c fan that they make, so that it can get powered along with the SSD. Works perfectly!

Unbelievable Device
Amazing product (Pro version) - It nails all the advertised features - Power delivery, fast read write speeds to SSD (I'm filming 4.6k Open Gate Prores 422 HQ) and connects to my audio device by USB C and barely breaks a sweat... blows my mind I can do all of this simultaneously AND connect something behind this thing with MAGSAFE!!! Current rig: iPhone 16pro > MagSafe Filter Mount > This SSD Enclosure > MagSafe Tripod --- Killer rig.

This is what Hagibis is all about.
MC100 Pro - This enclosure was so aesthetically pleasing to me the first time I laid eyes on it, I just had to have it. Especially with the separately purchased heat sink lid, the "upgraded" lid that comes on it is pretty cool looking in my opinion, but that heat sink just puts it over the edge! The heat sink is somewhat functional, although it isn't as effective as I had hoped it might... While I was doing one of my initial transfers after installing the SSD, it did throttle, I can only imagine it was due to high temps. But I will rarely be transferring such large volumes, so I don't imagine I will experience much throttling in the future. The "Super Capacitor" does seem to keep the drive on for a few seconds after its unplugged if it's not ejected correctly. I absolutely love that it come with 2 magnetic rings that you can stick on anything smooth enough, I use a pixel phone, and because it doesn't have an expandable micro-SD slot, this is an even better storage solution, considering I transferred 150gb in about 5 minutes... :0

Epic fail
When I say "pure garbage", I mean it literally. That's where this enclosure is going. When connected to either my MacBook Pro or my iPad Pro, it will transfer files for maybe five minutes before it just gives up and disconnects from the host. It would be tempting to conclude I just got a bad one. But the same thing happens with two different enclosures, the Pro version and the Lite version. Hagibis support hasn't even bothered to respond to my request for help. The enclosure works long enough to run tests. Using the Blackmagic Speed Test app on my M1 Max MacBook Pro, I consistently achieved speeds of around 950 MB/s write and 900 MB/sec read using a Crucial P310 2TB M.2 2230 SSD. The Crucial SSD works well with the iPhone, never creating an excessive power draw which would cause the phone to shut it down. (Note that the max speed is limited by the enclosure. The SSD itself is much faster.)It must be said that the enclosure creates the strongest MagSafe bond I've every experienced. It is not going to come off the phone accidentally. And it is MagSafe on both sides, making it easy to attach to an iPhone and also to attach another MagSafe accessory to it—a cooling fan or a MagSafe battery pack, for example. But does it matter if the enclosure fails at its main function? No, it does not.Obviously, I'm not going to recommend this product. It's bad enough that it doesn't work. What's worse is that the company doesn't care. I'd give this thing zero stars if I could. That goes for Hagibis support too.

Essential for iPhone 15 Pro
I was using a SSD in a Magsafe pouch till I found this nifty device. It seems like it's built pretty well and even has foam to dissipate heat. Very easy to install the SSD just unscrew everything pop the SSD in and close it up. Only took a few minutes for everything. I was very surprised to see this came with a bunch of extras. It also include a carry pouch, screwdrivers, and magnets. I picked up the Corsair MP600 CORE Mini 2TB since I was looking for a larger capacity drive. Make sure you read the manuals on the SSDs since some draw excess power that this enclosure cannot handle such as the WD - BLACK SN770M. Before you plug this into your iPhone make sure you plug it into your computer and format the drive as exFAT. Then plug it into your iPhone and you can record PRORES using the default camera or use the Blackmagic Camera app for a more customizable recording experience.

Three USB-C ports is exactly what I needed
I film YouTube videos with my iPhone and this was exactly the SSD enclosure I needed. I need you to be able to plug this into my iPhone and also plug it into power and my micro receiver. This is the only SSD enclosure I found that has three ports built-in. It works perfectly and being able to magnetically attach the back of my phone is an added benefit. The one con I have found about this enclosure is that it gets hot pretty quickly and there isn't really a way to ventilate it. This makes it pretty durable, but especially in the warmer months I'm worried that it's going to overheat and the performance will be degraded.
