AMAZING!
This is my first year, trying using SIP buckets and I was dedicated grow bag gardener. . But I decided to try something new. I am so glad I did. I have Purple Rosella tomato plants growing in grow bags and in SIP (sub irrigated planter)buckets with the Grow Tech insert. They’re both growing nicely, but in the grow bag I now have about 8 tomatoes starting and the plants is about 3 feet tall. In the SIP bucket with the Grow Tech insert, I have 22 tomatoes blooming and the plant is almost 5 feet tall even though it’s a dwarf tomato plant. Soil is consistently moist and while I do try to water the top since I have some basil or chives going on top, the plant is not just thriving, but exploding with growth. I plan to get more of these inserts and extend my SIP containers.

LOVE IT
I found this product to be very helpful. Keeps the water under the soil so no bugs on top. Perfect for indoor growers. The directions for setup were easy to follow and the product itself was very easy to assemble. I bought 2 sets and plan on buying more after testing. So far testing for me is positive.

Great
I have only used one so far and plant just made it to nutrients but seems to be working really well. I’m only using one now because I use a lot of soil pots and hand water and I suspect this method may leans towards hydro-gro not my soil grows so teaching myself how to handle them.

Plants Love It !
Drop in, add dirt, add water in the bucket, add a little water from the top to start the 'wicking' process and BOOM! its done. Sit back, check on the water gauge and plants every other day or so. It doesnt get much easier than this ! Plants love it!

This is perfect for 5 gal self-watering containers
I decided to start a self-watering container garden this year. After watching numerous You Tube videos I constructed 4 containers. I improved the design each time I made one, and was very proud of myself. That is, till I saw a vid for GroBucket. I realized no matter how much I improved my design it would never be as good as GroBucket, not even close. For $18 per unit ($54 for 3) this is a no-brainer. The design is genius for it's functionality and simplicity. Highly recommend.

Great product but overpriced
Company shipped the item in the product box with just a quick piece of packing tape over the lid. Item arrived beat up due to not going through the trouble to place it into a shipping box. Kinda lame. Everything appears to be intact however as far as I can tell. These are awesome, but $55 for 3 bucket attachments? …made from cheap plastic??? I appreciate the convenience of a premade product ready to go so I pulled the trigger on these, but if you got the parts laying around in your garage I’d say go that way. Same end result in the end for much cheaper.

Great product!!!!
These are some great inserts for beginners and pros. If you have a problem with overwatering, like i did, then these are your answer. My plants have stayed green and healthy for the first time ever in my limited experience. I plan on adding an airstone, and putting a screen over fill hole and runoff hole. But overall i definitely recommend these and plan on getting another 3pack. Plants are in week six of flowering and they love their homes.

Great design, great price.
I've used some of the popular sub-irrigated planters before so when I saw these in some YouTube videos, I knew right away it was worth checking out. Like the Earthbox or the City/Patio Pickers gardens you can get at Home Depot and Lowe's, these have a water reservoir in the bottom of the container and the potting mix wicks the water upward as the plant uses it. But what I like about these (other than the price) is that I can fit a bucket in tighter spaces than I can those larger rectangular planters, so I'm better able to make use of otherwise wasted space, and I was also able to repurpose some 5 gallon buckets I already had on hand (just make sure you know what was in them and that it's safe for growing food). This product is very well made and well worth the price, and the water level indicator is a very nice feature that I wish the other systems I have used in the past had thought to include. I have 9 of these set up on my porch right now and I have another 3-pack on the way.
