I bought these to use in preparation for a consignment sale. A few had dull tips, a few bent while trying to pin through two layers of clothes, there was a random tack in the jar (?!?) but overall did the job fine and will probably order them again for the next sale - cheap and plenty of them for my needs.

For the price I paid (nine bucks), I'm very pleased. They're lightweight, but not flimsy. About 1 out of 25 have a noticeable crook at the end, but it's slight, and a few passes through an emery sharpener (the strawberry attached to your pincushion) clears it right up. They're great with cotton, but if I was using them on silk I'd probably try to polish each tip with the strawberry. The fit together well; I was often using them one-handed. Worked great for my project: pinning washers to a blanket to try out different weights for a weighted blanket. For quilting and other sewing, I think they'd work very well.

I used it for consignment sale. Like the container and worked for the clothes. They do bend easily, but knowing this, I was able to work with it. It was just difficult on jeans or heavy materials. For cheap safety pins, they did the job for me.

I run a 7-week garage sale fund-raiser for our church. We receive and sell a mountain of textiles. For these, we need to use a medium sized safety pin to attach a price tag. These pins fit the bill perfectly. They were big enough to enable our volunteer workers to attach them without any problem, but not so big as to be a problem. Some pins are just too small to be workable. And others are too big to be useable or economical. These hit the perfect sweet spot.

As long as you're not expecting a tough, durable safety pin, these are perfect for the price. I use them for consignment sales and they go through 2-4 layers of clothing with no problems. I would definitely buy them again.

I was getting ready for a consignment sale and realized I needed A LOT of safety pins. These pins are the perfect size to pin items together and to the hangers. I love how many come in this and it's packed in a saleable container. I saw that others said they bend too easily but that wasn't a problem for me. I'd recommend these for anyone needing size 2 safety pins.

I bought these for a consignment sale. They dont hold very much weight. If I had 2 pairs of pants pinned, the pin always came out and poked me.

Great price for the amount, but pins are a little weak, definitely not for holding heavy things together.
