I originally bought these for a cruise to hang our towels and swimsuits in the cabin door. They are EXTREMELY STRONG. They didn't slide at all. They are definitely not easy to pull off, you have to slide them to the end to pull off or the hook will pop off (you can put it back). I now keep one on the side of my fridge and have my apron hanging from it. They definitely served their purpose.

I like the fact that you can move / turn the hook in whatever direction you need, keeping it in cheek with gravity and allowing you to use it on the fridge or upside down to hang things. It certainly does have quite the pulling power of 66lbs, which makes it harder to move or remove from any surface :-). I would recommend this to anyone. Quantity and price are reasonable as well.

Strong enough my 4yo son has trouble pulling it off of thick metal. It's horizontal hanging weight is significantly less then it horizontal weight however. Also the hooks can come off easy.

These are great for all kinds of things. Very strong and work great.

I do not have anything to hang these from to see how much they can hold horizontally but I do have large steel cabinets (not stainless steel) that i wanted to hang my pots and pans on. The general consensus is that you can hang something vertically, 1/3 the weight of the horizontal load. These will not hold an 8 pound skillet, without sliding down the side of the cabinet, but... if you put a stick patch below it that is thick enough to hold it from sliding, it will not let go of the cabinet and drop your item. That much seems to be 'holding' true.

These are awesome. Use them on my grill to hold utensils. Very strong.

Very strong magnets!

These things are so versatile and great quality -the magnet is very strong. I use one sideways for hanging my heavy backpack with a laptop, lunch, water bottle, etc.The key is to place the magnet on a solid metal surface. If the metal is thin, then expect some grip but not the full weight load potential. You could also use a small dollop of hot glue for a little extra sideways hang weight, as this gives more friction between the metal and magnet.

This is an excellent set of magnets. In fact, each magnet is so strong that it will want to pull out of your hand as it approaches any metal surface. I haven't noticed any slippage with anything I have put on the hook yet, and I like the fact that the hook itself rotates 360 degrees to match any angle. Highly recommended.

Very very strong magnets on chalkboard/fridge or to each other (had to pull really hard to get them loose!). On the whiteboard their sturdiness lowers substantially (can move without much effort). Bought with the intent of hanging chart paper on the whiteboard and haven't tried as of yet, but am thinking 2 magnets should be able to hold the load (crossing fingers)! If not will be moving them to chalkboard. Hook swivels around nicely. Good product:)

These magnets are strong; I had trouble separating them when I opened the package.The hooks are the only weakness to this product, not because they're poorly constructed but rather because they can pop out if pulled or twisted.I'm using two of the magnets to hold up a large desk calendar, with ease. I would buy this product again and I would recommend them to anyone looking for strong magnets to hold items in place.

Used these hooks to affix to the walls of a cruise to the Carribean (everything sticks to the walls of your cabin/room). Held up well, from wet bathing suits to heavy purses to knapsacks. While they are a bit on the pricey side, it's well worth the expense for that use. Shipping was fast with prime as well, so I was able to order them a few days before a trip and get them in time. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
