These are very comfortable and I could wear them for about 6 hours at a time. The steel toe came in handywhen I was tossing a half cord of firewood. ( I dropped two logs on my foot with no discomfort). My orthotic inserts fit inside too. I'm thinking about ordering another pair.

So... I had read several reviews before I bought these and most of them were positive. When they came, I tried them on and initial they felt good. Did some errands and it was ok. Mine you I tried them at home. I used them the next day at work...and omg I thought my feet were going to explode. They hurt so bad. I use compression socks which are thin, which I thought was the problem. So the next day I decided to try them with extra socks (a bit thicker to cushion the soles), that did not help. The third day I took the insoles out and had the compression socks plus the thicker socks on. It was better not great. By the fourth day from wearing them it started to loosen up and was manageable. I think it's the steel toe(plastic), my big toes still rub against it. I was going to send them back, but it's needed for work and my other shoes are worn. Walking up to 8 hours a day on concrete, I would have hoped for better comfort. I have worn steel toe shoes/boots before so I know how it should feel. Need to work on the toe part and the cushion. I wear a 7 1/2 shoe, maybe I should have gone for the 8?

It runs big, but comfy and light weight. One of my amazon best finds!

I started work in the office of a manufacturing plant and needed steel toe shoes for inventory and plant tours. I ordered my normal shoe size and they are a little big, but I'm okay with that. I added my own arch supports since I wore these hours at a time. They are durable, but as I was walking around the plants there were spots that were slick and these were not slip resistant. I didn't need something super expensive since I'm not in the plant every day, so these work great for when I need them.
