Quality materials, build, and plenty of room!
This game belt was a game-changer for me this year. I would always just take a plastic bag out with me and toss my birds in. That got to be a pain, especially considering I've only got two hands for more equipment than I can usually carry! The belt is well made. The two shell pockets are large and very durable. I really liked the magnetic closing feature. Some other reviewers said they didn't like them. I found them to be very beneficial. The game pocket exceeded my expectations. I was able to fit 12 birds in the pocket and still had room for more. Now, for some, this next feature isn't a big deal but it really was the cherry on top for me. The drink/bottle holder is a great addition to an already great game belt. I know what you're thinking. It's a drink holder...big deal. Even the material used for the drink holder is high quality. It's plenty deep, allowing the user to put pretty much whatever drink they want in there. On those warmer September and October days it was very nice to have a large bottle of water right at my finger tips. The dark brown material hides the bottle, or whatever you have, very well. I'm thoroughly impressed with this belt and highly recommend it.

Well built. Reasonably priced. Works well
Works great. Ive taken it dove and duck hunting a few times. Made out of sturdy materials but also breathable. It doesnt get to hot on your waist. Flaps stay closed with the magnets, keeps your shells in the bag even when bending over or climbing over/under a fence to retrieve a bird.I feel like some reviewers complaining about the magnets is..... i guess people find a reason to complain about anything.Edit on 3-6-21: I have had this belt for over two years now. I have taken it dove, duck and squirrel hunting many many times. It has been a constant companion to me on my many walks through the woods. All the material has held up and the pockets still work great.

Multi-purpose, comfortable, quality
I really like ALPS stuff. I've used this for dove hunting (as it's meant for), squirrel hunting, and shooting clays at a range. There's plenty of storage space for a box or two of shells, a day's worth of dove/squirrel, the water bottle holder fits a 32oz Nalgene (YES!!!!), and ya got a little room left over for snacks. I like to wear it with bibs or take the bags off (which is great to be able to do to rearrage/remove as needed) of this belt and clip them onto my belt for my pants, since having a belt on a belt can be annoying (but that's not the product's fault). I like it so much I'd buy another, but I doubt the one is going to wear out since it's pretty darn tough feeling.

ALPS Dove Belt
This pack is excellent quality for the price. I'm a woman and I definitely agree that this is made for a man. Though this was at no point a setback for me due to the pockets being removable. In fact I took one of the shell bags off and let my boyfriend attach it to his regular jeans belt and it worked like a dream for him. So you technically could get two packs for the price of one. The material is very good quality and the magnets are definitely heavy duty. I found that if you push the flap down into the pocket it attaches to the inside and you are more easily able to access by pushing down against the flap. The water bottle holder is huge and fits a wide variety of water bottles. From plastic grocery store bottles to large nalgene bottles.

One of the best and most versatile hunting belts I have used.
I use this belt every day. I have 4 GSP's. I run them daily and have hunted 40 days this year. In warm weather I carry up to 4 quarts of water for the dogs. My dogs are big running dogs.I have made some modifications. Changes are Farwin Tactical gun Belt - Longer and double thick webbing, Tool Belt Suspenders heavy duty, Ordered more water pouches. Added loops on the suspenders to hang Garmin Dog tracking and communication and correction tools. The suspenders are required because of the weight of the water. The end result is I have my items at the waist where I can get to them and still and supporting the weight at the shoulders. This set up works. I probably look a little funny. The magnets in the flaps have been a problem. The Garmin Alpha I use is affected by the magnets. Magnets affects the compass and the compass is key to dog tracking process. The magnets can also be a problem getting items in and out of the pockets. I am using a non magnetic pocket purchased separately on the side of my body where I carry the the Garmin Alpha. It would also be possible to remove the magnets from the pouch closures. This removal can be done without affecting the pouches with just a little hand sewing. A clip snapping closure would be better for me on the smaller pouches. The magnets work well on the bird bag.. Why the magnets are spaced farther apart and you can grab the pouch cover in the middle behind your back and easily open it. The opening of the smaller pouches can be a problem because the magnet are spaced close to each other and they are quite strong. If you want solid closure of the pouches the magnets make this happen. So what makes this product very good. The concept is very good. The pouches are well made and of good size. If you do not carry a lot of weight then you would not need the suspenders and the belt would be fine as long as your waist is not over 40 inches. my waist is 37 inches. The supplied belt was rolling up into a roll with the weight I was carrying. Further when it got cold I was wearing it over my winter coat, I could barely able to buckle the belt with a winter coat on. So I bought Tactical belt to solve these issues.

Dove bag
Works well, pretty comfortable to wear. Shoulder straps would be a nice option. Nice lid and pouch size. Easy access with gloves on or off. Constructed pretty well. The adjustable waist band seems too hold its adjustment well and doesn't loosen while walking. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to any dove hunter. Alps products have yet to disappoint.

Built like a tank!
This feels heavy duty! Works great , fits over 10 birds no problem. The only thing that could be better is tightening the strap is difficult. I have had have it unbuckled to tighten, but it can be loosened when it's buckled. Over all great piece for dove / upland game hunting. Prefer this over the vest by far. Holds a ton of shells
